"Hello beautiful how are you feeling"Matt said."was that the front door"Gabby said as she was half asleep. "Yes it was love"Matt said. "Where's everyone gone love"Gabby asks. "They've left"Matt said. "I'm still feeling exhausted and by the way how long have I been asleep for"Gabby asks. "Almost 4 hours love"Matt said. "You've missed the darts game between the Dawsons and the Casey's Gabby"Nancy said. "Who played for us"Gabby asks. "Well your brother was the assistant judge and it was a good game plus it was recorded"Matt said. "Who won guys"Gabby said. "Well just say that there was 1 point in it the scores was 387 and 388"Nancy said. "Who won"Gabby asks as there was a long pause. "Gabby the Casey's won"Matt said. "Do you want to try to eat something Gabby"Nancy said. "We've saved some Cheesecake Gabby"Matt says. "Yes please and can you also bring over my water"Gabby asks as Nancy went over and fetched them both.
Now that Gabby has eaten something which makes Matt relieved as he was worried. "Gabby you almost fainted earlier'Matt said. "It must've been that I didn't eat enough for breakfast"Gabby said. "From now on either my mom or myself will make sure that you have your meals everyday"Matt said as Gabby had no words to say about it. "Matt was that my cell"Gabby said. "Yes it was and it's your best friend Shay"Matt said. "I'll phone her and arrange for her to come over in the next few days"Gabby said. As Matt picks up his cell and dials Shay's number who's 2 hours away at her moms place.
"Hello Shay it's Mat here"Matt said. "Hello Matt is everything okay"Shay said. "Everything is alright there"Shay asks. "What time does your flight leave tomorrow morning"Matt said. "The flight leaves at 6:30am should arrive in Chicago at about 8:30am"Shay said. "Either myself or Mr Rogers will be waiting for you at the arrivals area"Matt said. "Thanks Matt see either of you there"Shay said. "By the way is it at Chicago O'Hare International Airport"Matt asks. "Yes thats correct Matt"Shay said. As the two friends finish talking on their cells Shay can enjoy the rest of her day with her mom. "Babe either myself or Mr Rogers will be picking Shay up from the airport tomorrow morning need to be there at least by 8:30am"Matt said. "What time would you need to leave by"Gabby asks. "At least 7:30am don't worry my mom will be herewith you if I go"Matt said. "You just make sure that you tell Shay that I'll phone her to arrange a time"Gabby said. "I'll tell her if I pick her up Gabby"Matt said.
"Mom can you please run the bath for us and make sure that you put some of Gabby's favourite bath bombs then we want to be alone"Matt said. "Of course I'll run that bath for you and Gabby and I understand son"Nancy said as she went to the restroom to run the bath for her son and daughter in law to be. "Gabby you need to tell your mom that Mr Rogers will arrive to pick her up to take her to hospital when you go in labour"Matt said. "Yes love"Gabby said. As their bath was running Matt had Gabby's last gift ready so he hands her her final gift which was something that can be updated when their girls are born. "Gabby this is your final gift apart from the bath that I promised you"Matt said. "Matt you shouldn't have"Gabby said. "Well just say that its not complete yet til our girls are born Gabby"Matt said as Gabby notices that there's a note with it. The note reads 'I'm not complete til I've got the birth stone and the dates we're born and of course our names on. Love bump xxxxx'. "Matt I don't know what to say"Gabby said. "Now you'll have a piece of the girls with you at all times Gabby"Matt said as Gabby agrees. "Matt don't get anything as you've given me a great idea for your Father's Day present"Gabby said. "Agreed"Matt said.
Now that Nancy has just finished running the bath and setting the scene for son Matt and daughter in law to be Gabby. "Matt the bath is ready do you want me to pour you two glasses of that non-alcohol cocktail and bring them in before you get in"Nancy asks. "Yes please mom and can you bring Gabby's cravings along with some fruit thats made in the fridge"Matt asks. "Got it son"Nancy said as she went to make the drinks and grab the snack and she took them into the restroom. "Thanks mom for doing all of this"Matt said. "I'll be off in my room now Matt by the way thanks for a great day"Nancy said. "Goodnight Nancy"Gabby said. "Goodnight Gabby goodnight son"Nancy said as she went upstairs to her room for the night.
Now that Gabby and Matt are now alone in their living room as Nancy has gone upstairs to her room which means one thing only that they can both strip off as they walk to their restroom to enjoy that bath that Matt promised Gabby first thing this morning. As the couple walk from the sofa clad in nothing Gabby has to be helped by her man Matt as they enter the restroom Gabby notices what Matt has organised for them both to enjoy as Matt helps her into the bath they sit down how they always do Gabby in between his legs so he can hold his 3 girls. "Gabby I can't believe that we're 27 weeks soon"Matt said. "I know"Gabby said. "What do you think of it all"Matt ask. "I love it and how lucky I am to have a fiancé like you"Gabby said. "I'm glad you love it"Matt said.
"Matt can we reminisce about us"Gabby asks. "Of course"Matt said. "I'll let you start Matt"Gabby said. "Do you remember how we got together"Matt asks. "If my memory is correct I was helping you look after Griffin and Ben as they was asking loads of question"Gabby said. "Yes Ben asked me why ain't Gabby your girlfriend"Matt said. "He asked me the same thing"Gabby said. "Do you remember when we was on a call and I had to save you"Matt said. "I was Paramedic in Charge with 'Chout' as Shay was having a breakdown"Gabby said. "Yes and then we got together as our love for each other and our feelings was strong and we couldn't resist each other and we gave into temptation"Matt said. "Yes we gave into each other and you kissed me if I remember at my place"Gabby said. "Thats right and then our love was tested on numerous occasions"Matt said. "Yes but we survived and look where we are now 27 weeks pregnant with twin daughters and we're engaged"Gabby said. "I love being in each others company"Matt said as Gabby agreed.
"Our love for each other is incredible and when we welcome our girls into the world in 7-9 weeks time"Gabby said. "Nothing will change our love for each other"Matt said as they enjoy the drinks and the snacks. Gabby has one thing on her mind. "Matt I want to talk to you about today"Gabby said. "Gabby you don't have to apologise for today"Matt said. "Todays meal was supposed to be a family do"Gabby said. "Gabby our families are really understanding when it comes to a pregnant woman who needs her sleep"Matt said. "At the moment all I need is sleep but there's soo much more that we've got to do"Gabby said. "What's that baby"Matt asks. "We'll talk about it tomorrow once my family has been here"Gabby said. "Agreed"Matt said as the water is getting cold.
The time is now almost 8:30pm and as the couple have got out of the bath together and as Matt dries Gabby he kisses her stomach. "Gabby have you had fun today and our girls"Matt said. "I've had fun and by the sounds of its so did our daughters"Gabby said as they walked to their bedroom from their restroom they got into bed after a long 12 hours of family day. Gabby and their girls are surrounded by Matt as he hugs them as they both fall sleep xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Its now 6:30am the next morning and Matt who has to be out of the house ready to leave at 7:30am for the 1 hour journey to Chicago O'Hare International Airport to pick up Shay but he wants to be very quiet as fiancé Gabby is fast asleep snoring....
