It was a gorgeous sunny day in Chicago on Valentines Day 2012 and after shift Matt and Gabby are meeting up but he had a favour to ask his best friends and colleague. "Kelly can you and Stella pick up Gabby at 12 as I want to surprise her with something" Matt said. "Sure mate" Kelly said. At this point Gabby realised that she hasn't picked up the present for her boyfriend of two years and she knew exactly what to get him for Valentines Day. "See you at 12" Kelly said. "Matt said. "Bye" Kelly and Stella both say.
They all finished work at 7:30 and Matt and Gabby headed home together they've lived together for over a year. "I need to go out later at 12 to do some bits" Gabby said. "Kelly and Stella are coming round later at 12 why don't you go out together and do what you need to" Matt said.
The morning goes by and it's now lunchtime and Kelly and Stella arrive to pick up Gabby. "Stella why don't you take Gabby to the car I need to talk to Matt about something " Kelly said. "Ok babe" Stella said as Matt handed Kelly a red lacy dress for Gabby to put on at 4pm for her sit with Matt tonight. "Thanks Kelly see you at the restaurant when you drop Gabby off" Matt said. Gabby's present for Matt is a very special watch with something written on the back of it. While they are there Matt gets his special gifts ready when they both arrive back from the restaurant. The house will be decorated so Matt can propose like it's under the stars. Stella and Gabby have been friends from the first moment they met at the Academy and knows where her and Kelly need to stop Gabby off at 4pm. Rooms ready presents sorted (an engagement ring and sparkly pearl earrings) and I'm ready.
Meanwhile Gabby has got Matt's present all done and ready for the evening and same with Matt. Kelly and Stella get a text from Matt. "Guys are you ready still for helping me tonight with everything, I'll text you when Mr Rogers has picked us up" Matt says. "Everything is ready" Kelly said. "Thanks for dropping Gabby off" Matt said. "That's ok mate" Kelly said.
As Matt was waiting outside for Gabby she steps out of the car and Matt says. "Babe you look incredibly stunning in that dress". "Thanks babe your dashing yourself"Gabby said at this point Matt is feeling very nervous about the evening ever since he first met her as he's dreamt of this moment forever and that he wants to marry her. "I'm soo lucky to work with you and have you in my life" Matt said. "Same here"Gabby says as they sit down to have their food. "Babe are you ok"Matt says. "I'm good thanks just thinking about what I want to do tonight in bed" Gabby said. 15 minutes later there food arrives and they talk about there day as they eat.
As they finish there food Gabby goes to the restroom Matt texts Kelly. "Mate everything is ready and we're on our way home from the restaurant we won't be far off bye mate" Matt wrote as the couple wait outside. "Stella we need to get to work I'll light the candles if you get the banner sorted for Matt to pull and when they come through the door we can scarper" Kelly said. They both get to work and 10 minutes later they arrive home for more surprises before the night ends.
They walk in doors and Gabby is in love with the place all done up with candles. "Matt I love this" Gabby said as they both sit down on the sofa. Matt pours two glasses of wine as he gets the gifts out and Gabby does the same. "This is for you love" Gabby said. "Thanks babe this is for you" Matt said as Gabby opened the box. "OMG I love them thanks love"Gabby said as she noticed that her boyfriend of two years was kneeling on the floor holding something in his hands and as he tugs on the banner she starts crying.
Her face showing shocked and happiness as Matt starts to talk. "Gabriela Dawson you are the most amazing woman I've ever met and I'm soo lucky to have you in my life will you do the honour of becoming my wife Will You Marry Me"Matt said."Yes yes"Gabby said as Matt slips her engagement ring on her finger. They both stare into each others eyes and are thinking the exact same thing. "Babe do you want to go to the bedroom and....."Matt says. "Yes please love"Gabby says as they blow out the candles before waking to the bedroom with their glass of wine in their hands.
It's now 8pm Gabby and Matt are in bed making love to one another. Matt places his hands on Gabby's sexy body as he cuddles her and kisses her body and her lips. Gabby placed her hands on Matt's sexy body as she took his boxers off Matt took Gabby's bra off and they got into bed to make love to one another. "Gabby have I told you how sexy you are and damn hot"Matt said. "Yes a million of times"Gabby said. "Babe I've dreamt of this moment forever especially since we first met each other.
As Matt layed back while Gabby layed back in between her fiancés legs he then place his hands on her belly (pregnant belly) which is something that Gabby has always liked Matt doing. "Matt I know you've always wanted to be a dad for as long as I can remember" Gabby said. "Gabby you're gonna be a superb mother to our kids" Matt said. They made love to each other throughout til the early hours of the morning.
It's now 6am and Gabby has a splitting headache and is feeling sick so she rushes off to the restroom and you've guessed it she throws up and as Matt wakes up he goes to help rescue his fiancé. "Babe are you ok you haven't been yourself in the mornings for the past month or so"Matt said as he held back her hair. "I've got an appointment today at 1 hopefully we'll get some answers as to why I'm like this every morning but the rest of the day I'm perfectly fine Shay has been brilliant with me and really supportive of me" Gabby says. "I'm coming with you babe"Matt said.
"Babe can we stay in bed cuddled up together til we need to leave"Gabby said. "Whatever makes you happy babe"Matt says. "When are we going to tell our families friends and work colleagues"Gabby says. "Let's just get the appointment out of the way first then we'll know more"Matt says. "That's a good point I'm just dying to tell Shay our news " Gabby said. "We could invite a few people round tonight and you can show off your ring to our family and friends"Matt said. "I can't wait for them all to know"Gabby says. "Neither can I fiancé"Matt says as they lay in bed kissing each other and one name comes to mind "Nancy"(Matt's mom).
"I know that you don't like talking about your mom"Gabby said. "What about my mom"Matt said. "Don't you think that she deserves to know about us"Gabby said. "I don't mean to be rude Gabby but your right her parole is due in the next month or so not sure on the exact date yet"Matt said. "Why don't we go together to see her she's going to be my mother in law and nanny to our children in the future"Gabby said. "Yes of course we can go to see my mom together"Matt said. Matt looks at his watch and realises the time. "Gabby we need to get dressed for your appointment at the doctors"Matt said. "Where's my nice thin top the one that the sleeves roll up easy with no problem"Gabby said. "Is this it babe and here's your joggers"Matt said as Gabby pulled Matt towards her for a kiss showing just his boxers on as she placed her hands round his body as he placed his hands on her hips.
Before they leave the house at 12:15 for the 15 minute drive to the doctors you fire it it Gabby rushes of to the restroom and is sick again and the loving husband to be goes to Gabby's aid and he holds her hair. "I'm here babe whatever happens to us both we'll be here for each other no matter what"Matt says as he pulls Gabby's hair to one side. Gabby was sick for no more than 5 minutes. "I'm ready for the drive to the doctors to see what's wrong with me just hope it's a cold.Gabby says. "Let's go"Matt said as he picked up his car keys....
