"Eda.. Eda.. open your eyes. Lutfen. Eda.. baby.. no..." Serkan kept her head in his lap as he cried his heart out. The people around stood and called the ambulance while Serkan kept stroking her hair, scared.. too too scared.

"Serkan.. Kiraz.. save her.. and.. please give her all the love. Don't abandon her please. Don't send her away. Please Serkan. If.. if you don't want the child.. please let Engin and Piril adopt my baby.. they are ready.. they agreed to my baby's godparents. They will take good care of her." She said opening her eyes as the ambulance arrived and Serkan kept shaking his head sobbing and shocked to listen to her say that. She still thought he didn't want their child. He just wanted her to be okay and their baby to be okay and then he would definitely have to work with her on her insecurities.

"Hayir.. hayir.. I.. it's our girl. My baby. I will always take care of her and of you.. I will not let anything happen to both of you.. you will be fine Eda.. I can't let anything happen to you.. I can't live without you Eda. No.. please.. don't give up.. we are going to the hospital." He said as the paramedics shifted Eda into the ambulance and Serkan hopped behind her.

"Excuse me.. excuse me sir. Who are you? Are you with the patient?" One of the paramedics asked.

"Yes. Yes.. yes I am .. I am her husband.. she is pregnant. 8 months and 10 days pregnant.. 36 weeks.. please.. please she is bleeding. Please help her. She can't give birth soon. The baby hs to be okay. She has to be okay." He said pleadingly. He was all messed up. Disheveled!

The paramedics saw him and could understand he was really her husband.

"Okay sir. We need you to calm down. We will do our best and we will be in hospital within 10 minutes." The paramedic replied and Serkan sat by Eda's side, holding onto her hand and sobbing.

"Eda.. wake up. Please.. please.. please be okay. Eda? Please. I want you both to be okay. I would be lost with you. Eda.. open your eyes please. Edaaaa." He let out a scream, trying to wake his unconscious wife up.

"Sir.. sir.. you need to calm down please. We are looking after your wife... are you sure you are okay?" The paramedic asked Serkan as he was breathing heavy and looked so pale.

"Yes.. please look after her.. please make her open her eyes. Please." He said with his hands joined in front of them, begging him.

"Sir.. please stay calm. We are doing our best." The paramedic said and 5 minutes later, they were in the hospital, putting her on a stretcher and rushing in with Serkan running behind.

"She is pregnant. Please make sure they both are okay. She still has 20 days for delivery.. please save them both.. please." He said as they wheeled her into emergency operating room and he wasn't allowed to go beyond this point.

"Please let me be with my wife. Please." He pleaded to the doctors rushing in and even the nurses but they all shook their head.

"Mr. You will have to stay outside. We will be tending to her now." They said and he had no option but to wait while they took care of his wife.

He quickly pulled out his phone, he needed to inform Melo the situation.

"Hello.. Melo... Melo... uhh.. Eda.. she she slipped down the stairs while she was coming to meet me.. we.. we are in the hospital.. she is in the operating room." Serkan said crying on the phone. He slumped by the wall and sat down, with his head in his palms and cried non stop.
