Jungkook stayed in the shower until the water became unbearably cold. His tears had stopped some time before that though. Jungkook sat on the toilet drying his hair. His eyes hurt. He knew without looking they were red and puffy, so he didn't bother to as he got dressed. Jungkook his hand on the handle took in a deep breath hoping against hope that Jimin wouldn't be there waiting for him. Either way he couldn't hide in the bathroom forever. Resigned to whatever his fate may be, he unlocked and opened the door and released the breath he'd been holding when he found the room empty. Jungkook crossed over to the bed and crawled into it and burrowed beneath the covers. He stared out the sliding glass doors watching the rain pitter pattering against it as thunder rumbled in the sky while lightning flashed across it lighting it up. Jungkook's eyelids fluttered shut and slowly to the sound of rain he fell into an uneasy sleep.
Jungkook woke up some time later when he felt the bed dip next to him. He didn't move, pretending to be asleep keeping his eyes closed. He felt Jimin wrap himself around his back draping an arm over his waist causing his eyes to open and peer outside where it was dark and still raining. Jungkook tried to keep his breathing even when he felt Jimin slip his hand underneath his shirt but when Jimin's hand splayed across his abdomen his breath hitched. Jungkook screwed his eyes shut knowing that Jimin had heard it because Jimin removed his hand from underneath his shirt.
"I'm sorry." Jimin whispered into the back of his neck followed by a press of lips.
Jungkook's eyes snapped open again and he whipped his head around when he felt Jimin kiss his neck.
"Jimin stop." Jungkook whispered into the dark room his voice barely audible, over the thunder that sounded into the room from outside. "Please. I can't." Jungkook felt himself tearing up again and abruptly turned back around and rolled out of the bed. Jungkook couldn't do this. He couldn't and rushed for the bedroom door to escape but before he could reach the door Jimin was in front of it blocking him from leaving. "Jimin move. Please." Jungkook pleaded, his voice wobbly betraying his emotions.
"I can't do that."
"Why?" Jungkook asked. "What do you want from me?" Jungkook asked further spinning to face the bed sitting on the edge of it heavily shoulders slumping in despair to stare at the floor. He didn't need to look up to know that Jimin was staring at him. He could feel his eyes on him. "I'm not some toy you can play with." Jungkook spoke down to the floor.
"Is that what you think I think of you?" Jimin asked, his voice tinted with offense.
Jungkook looked up to find Jimin standing directly in front of him peering down at him.
"Isn't it? Why else have you been doing what you've been doing?"
"I'm sorry." Jimin reached out and cupped his face with both of his hands.
Jungkook wrapped his own hands around Jimin's wrists ignoring how they encircled them completely as his words, his hidden feelings spilled out of him Jungkook no longer able to keep them in.
"Do you have any idea how long I've wished for you to see me?" Jungkook asked Jimin his eyes glassy.
"I do see you." Jimin countered from above him.
Jungkook scoffed standing up causing Jimin's hands to fall from his face as he stepped away from him. Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair glancing up at the ceiling before he turned his sights back onto Jimin.
"If you did you would have known how I felt about you. How I've always felt about you. How much I love you."
Jungkook watched Jimin's lips part in surprise at his admission, "you love me?"
"Yes." Jungkook whispered wiping away the tears that fell from his eyes with the sleeves of his shirt angrily. "Which is why you need to stop toying with me."
"I would never do that to you." Jimin spoke, closing the distance between the two of them, a crack of lightning illuminating the room as he did.
"But you have. Twice now. I know the first time was my fault but earlier today under the dock that was you. And fine you could have been caught up in the moment but to pretend that I wasn't even there with you? Do you have any idea how much that hurt?"
"Is that why you left, ran away, and hid from me?"
"I wasn't going to give you the satisfaction of seeing me cry."
"You're crying right now Jungkook." Jimin spoke as he took another step towards him.
Jungkook stared at Jimin his mouth parting in disbelief.
"Is this what you wanted? To see me crying over you?"
Jimin shook his head back and forth, "no. It's not. I don't."
"Then what?" Jungkook pleaded, needing to know because right now he felt like they were going in circles. "What do you want from me?"
Jimin closed the remaining vestige of space between them and without warning shoved Jungkook backwards. Jungkook, unprepared for Jimin's shove lost his balance and fell on top of the bed. Within seconds Jimin was on top of him straddling him Jimin's knees pressed into the mattress bracketing his hips pinning him to the bed. Just as quickly Jimin swooped down, stopping only when his face hovered over his own. Jungkook inhaled sharply, eyes widening, heart beating rapidly when he felt Jimin's warm breath ghost against his lips as he spoke.
"You. What I've always wanted is you."
