Didn't expect this to turn into a three part mini-series but I can't stop typing. Enjoy.

*four years later*

"Be careful!" I yelled for the hundredth time towards the water as JJ held Junior on the surf board. Kiara and Sarah sat on either sides of me, "I didn't know I'd have so much anxiety or else I wouldn't have agreed to this."

"You need another beer." Kiara laughed, reaching into the cooler and grabbing me a cold beer. Since Junior was four and was no longer depending on me for sustenance I could now freely drink, which was amazing.

"I swear John B left to get Mags from daycare like an hour ago." Sarah said as she looked around. Maggie was their three year old daughter, the cutest little thing I've ever seen. We all joke about how Junior and Maggie are gonna grow up to be high-school sweethearts.

Suddenly we saw the familiar van pull up as Pope and John B got out in their swim trunks, Maggie joining them as she jumped out of the back seat in a little pink swim suit.

"That is the cutest thing ever." I cooed as I watched her grab onto John B's hand.

"Babe, don't be mad, okay!?" John B called out as Pope grabbed the surf board from the top of the van.

"Absolutely not!" Sarah argued, knowing what he was suggesting.

"Oh, come on. Y/n is letting JJ teach Junior!" John B argued.

"Ten bucks Sarah kicks his ass," Kiara whispered from my left. I reached over and shook her hand.

"Ten bucks she lets him take Maggie in the water." I challenged as we watched the argument happen.

"She's three!" Sarah scolded. Maggie let go of her fathers hand and came running to Sarah, plopping into her lap.

"Junior is learning! They're practically the same age!" John B argued again as him and Pope walked through the sand towards us, boards in hand.

"Mags, do you wanna learn to surf?" Sarah asked her daughter. I watched as the dirty blonde toddler looked up at her and nodded her head yes, "Okay, go with daddy then."

"I owe you ten bucks, I didn't think she was gonna let him." Kiara said. I laughed and watched as they made their way to the water, joining JJ and Junior.

"If I knew she was gonna be such a daddy's girl I wouldn't have had a kid." Sarah joked as she reached into the cooler and grabbed a beer for herself, "Is Junior the same way?"

"Oh yeah," I began, "A couple nights ago JJ was working on his bike, they came in the house covered in grease and Junior had one of his hats backwards on his head. Spitting image of JJ, I swear."

"Juniors catching a wave!" Kiara cheered. I looked to the water to see my son standing on the surf board, JJ's arms outstretched to catch him as he surfed a small wave. He wobbled a bit but didn't fall.

"That's my boy! Good job, baby!" I sat my drink down and stood up, clapping my hands in the air. A few seconds later Junior jumped off the board into JJ's arms as they waved at us from the water.

"Look at Mags go!" I looked over to Pope and John B attempting to get the girl on the board. Pope was holding the board while John B held her up, she was wobbling but overall seemed to love the water.

"JB, do not let her fall!" Sarah warned. John B sent us a thumbs up as JJ carried Junior over to them, "What did we get ourselves into?"

"A lifetime of the guys teaching them how to do dangerous things safely." Kiara stated. We all burst out laughing as we returned to our spots in the sand.
