I wanted to get it published quickly so you guys know IM BACK

Please be patient with me as I remodel and revamp this account. I'll be merging my other account with this account by copy and pasting them into a new book. It's easier and saves me from getting locked out of this account again.

I sat in the garage with my dad fixing my very first dirt bike. It was just a small 50cc, but I loved it. My dad surprised me with it as an early birthday present, telling me we could have it fixed by my 14th birthday party. That way I could show all my friends.

"Hey, I'm home," My twin brother, Dayton, said as he entered the garage, "I brought a friend."

"Who's this?" Our dad asked, gesturing to the blonde. His hair was shaggy, hiding his blue eyes underneath. He was cute and definitely around our age, "You a Maybank?"

"Yes, sir," The boy said, "I'm JJ. Luke is my dad." He didn't seem proud of his words, which made me think his dad was possibly a douchebag. The only reason I recognized the tone is because that's the same voice I use to describe my mother.

"Knew ya looked familiar," My dad responded, "You two wanna help fix up Y/n's bike?"

"Dad—"

"YFZ50?" JJ's interest cut Daytons complaints short as he dropped his bag and waltzed over to take a look. His eyes lit up like mine do on Christmas Day, which told me we had a lot in common.

"You know your bikes." My dad smiled proudly, "Can't figure out where the oil leak is coming from."

That's what started everything. A small oil leak in my new bike blossomed into a friendship even death couldn't break.

My best friend, Emma, sat in the passenger seat of my new car as we entered the school parking lot, "Josh asked me to the dance." She said and I smiled at her. Josh has been her crush since the seventh grade, so seeing them find one another made me happy, "Do you think Tyler is gonna ask you?"

"He might," I shrugged, putting the car in park, "I hope so." My cheeks flushed red, warmth spreading across my face. Tyler and I have been on and off for months, the situationship starting because we both got a part time job at the surf shop. But, right now we were off, having gotten into a fight over some blonde that was flirting with him at work. It hurt, but he wasn't mine, so I pretended it didn't matter.

"I'll meet you for lunch?" Emma and I basically had completely opposite class schedules, but we had the same lunch so we promised to always eat with each other, "Subway sounds good."

"Yeah, meet at my car." I promised. We then went our separate ways.

"Sup, loser!" My brother smacked the back of my head as he ran past me on the sidewalk, "Dad said he won't be home tonight, so you're in charge of dinner."

"As if," I laughed, "Hey, JJ." I said happily as the blonde walked past me.

"Hey." He smiled, continuing to walk with me, my brother ditching him, "Care if I stay over for dinner?"
