Yong and Nuru were sat down on the longs near the campfire. Yong didn't look calm in the slightest when Nuru looked at him.
"What's wrong, Yong?" Nuru asked the young boy. Yong thought for a moment on how to form what he was gonna say.
"Just... How do we know if Varian's potion thing is going to work to cheer us up? What if it doesn't help?" he replied.
"We just have to let him try," Nuru smiled.
"What, lost faith in Goggles alchemy? Trust me, he's got this. Oh that felt odd to say," Hugo chimed in from a nearby tree. "Say, do you guys like music?" Both their faces lit up.
"Thought so. I think you'll be impressed," said Hugo, walking towards the two.
"Aw, thanks for the compliment, blondie. Seriously, though, I think you'll like it," Varian walked up to a log. He place a potion down next to the log, shook it after pouring something else in it and somehow a tune began to play.
"Yes! I thought that since we didn't have any instruments, I could make a way to make some music. Who's up for some singing?" Varian smiled, standing up.
"Yeah, I'm alright. You guys have fun," Hugo began to walk off, but Varian stopped him.
"C'mon, cant you just watch us. Maybe you'll enjoy it," Varian sat him back down.

It's been a few minutes since they'd started singing. Even Hugo had joined in now.
"I don't understand why you didn't wanna sing, Hugh, you're actually quite good!" Varian exclaimed. Hugo laughed at Varian's excitement.
"Have sang in a while, that's all. Yong seems to be happier," Hugo looked towards a singing Yong and Nuru. Both had the biggest smiles on their face.
"So. After this rain is over, where are we going?" Hugo asked. Both him and Varian were now sat on a log, just watching the younger two have fun.
"Uhh.. Let me check," Varian said, grabbing the journal. He read it to himself before a small smile appeared on his face.
"Corona," he said under his breath, but Hugo heard him.
"Your home, eh?" Hugo smiled back.
"Yeah. I gotta say, I'm excited," Varian laughed. "Nervous, but excited." Both continued to talk when they got dragged back into singing. This lasted hours before everyone was too tired to sing anymore. Everyone walked to their tents, except Varian who stayed at the fire. He grabbed the potion, put the cork in and walked back to his lab(?). Hugo came in.
"That was fun. Good job, hairstripe," he smiled.
"Thanks, undercut. Did it help?" Varian smiled back.
"From how quite it is now, and from their smiles, I'd say so, yeah," Hugo walked over to Varian. "How about you, did it help you?"
"Yeah, still nervous about returning to Corona, but other then that, it helped," Varian faced Hugo. "Can't believe I saw you actually smiling today." Both laughed.
"To be honest, me too. Thanks again, Varian," Hugo and Varian looked away from each other for a split second.
"Wait... You called me Varian? What happened to the nicknames?" Varian asked, giggling slightly.
"Whatever. Wanna go to sleep now?" Hugo smiled. Varian nodded.
"Yeah, sure," he said as the two walked off to their tents.
