Rapunzel is
~———~
Rapunzel walked through the tower, her hair making a circle around the floor. Pascal tried to help her as best he could being a chameleon, but that didn't work. She decided to grab her paint brush and find a new place on her wall. For the past few days, the same pictures appeared in her mind. Sharp, black rocks, a glowing blue stone, a young boy with black hair, a blue hairstripe and a women with short, black hair. She began to paint.
"I wonder why they keep popping into my head, Pascal," Rapunzel said, putting her paintbrush into the some water Pascal held. She went to continue painting when Gothel called her to the small window. Rapunzel walked over, throwing her hair over the windowsill, allowing Gothel to climb up. Once up, Gothel immediately saw the unfinished painting of the black haired woman. She immediately recognised it as her biological daughter, despite the very obvious differences.
"Rapunzel, dear, who is that painting of?" she asked, walking up to the wall. Rapunzel followed.
"I'm not too sure, mother. She and a young boy keep popping into my head. Oh and these black rocks and some weird blue stone. Odd, right?" Rapunzel said. Gothel coughed, collecting her thoughts.
"Yes, odd. Very odd. Do you know who the boy is?" she asked.
"Not a clue, mother. How would I if I never leave this tower?" Rapunzel picked up her paintbrush again. She continued to paint the four pictures from her mind while Gothel tried to get the blonde to explain what she was seeing over the few days. Rapunzel didn't know how to explain it. She continued to paint when suddenly someone was heard falling into the tower. Rapunzel quickly put her paintbrush down, running to retrieve her frying pan when she saw the women who'd been showing up in her thoughts.
"Princess? There's... There's no way... After 18 years, we finally-" the women began but stopped at the sight of Gothel. Her voice got quieter when she spoke again. "M-Mother...?" Rapunzel froze in place, as did Gothel.
"You... You're the women I've been seeing in my head... Oh my- This is- Oh my god!" Rapunzel's face formed a smile.
"Princess, I have to get you out of here. There's been a chemical explosion from a nearby town. It's started fires, you have to come with me!" the women exclaimed. Rapunzel's smile faded. Gothel walked over.
"Do you really trust some random women over your mother, Rapunzel. I guarantee you'll be safe from up here," she spoke, placing her hands on Rapunzel's shoulder. "You want to be safe, don't you?" Rapunzel looked at the new women, motioning towards the pan beside the closet. The young women ran and grabbed the pan, throwing it to Rapunzel.
"I'm sorry, mother. Not this time," Rapunzel said as she hit the older women in the face with the pan. Gothel was knocked out at once, falling to the ground.
"C'mon, I can get us down," Rapunzel said, offering her hand to the women. She reluctantly took it. Rapunzel threw her hair over and jumped out of the window. The black haired women screamed while Rapunzel laughed. Rapunzel's hair caught then before they reached the ground. They jumped down. Rapunzel let go of the other women's hand.
"I'm Rapunzel! Who are you?" she put her hand out for a handshake. The other women accepted it.
"Cassandra, your highness. Now, come on, I have to get you out of here and to safety before the place is burned," Cassandra spoke, guiding Rapunzel out of the woods and to the small town safely.~———~
