Finally, the last trail. All the group was told was that it wouldn't be easy to complete. They walked up and everything went dark.

Varian woke up back home, but with Hugo, Nuru and Yong. His father was stood in the doorway with who appeared to be his mother.
"Oh thank goodness you're awake! We began to think you were dead," smiled the blonde. Varian sat up suddenly.
"What the- How'd we- I was just- We we're just doing the final trail, how'd we get back to mine? Who's that women in the door?" Varian asked, sounding panicked.
"What? What final trail? Also, that's your mother, silly!" Yong smiled. Varian sat there in shock.
"The- The- The final trail of the seven kingdoms? Don't you guys remember? Also my mother died years ago!" Varian stood up to only get pulled back down to the bed once again.
"Alright, how hard did you hit your head sweetie?" Hugo asked. Nuru laughed.
"No- No- This isn't- This isn't right- I-" Varian began, but he cut himself off. He shot up and sped out of the room. He ran out of what he assumed was his house to see he wasn't even in old Corona or just Corona anymore. He was in Irra.
"How'd-?" he mumbled to himself but stopped when he heard someone.
"Oh hi Varian!" Cassandra smiled. Varian ran. He didn't know where to, he just ran. As he ran, he remembered a story Rapunzel once told him. One about a dream she had where everything was perfect, but she slowly died and killed the people around her the longer the dream went on. Then, it hit him. That was the final trail. That dream. That was what was happening to him right now. With that, he was able to snap out of his thoughts and back to the real world.

Unsurprisingly, he was the first to complete the trial. Soon, Yong followed, then Nuru. Now, only Hugo was left asleep. He looked... distressed intend of content however. Varian began to shake him, but that didn't.
"What should we do? If he stays in that dream, he could die!" Varian yelled, panic in his voice. The stone around his neck began to glow as by looked at the younger two.
"I dunno, he's your boyfriend," Nuru shrugged. "Slap him?" Varian glared at Nuru who defensively put her hand up. "Hey, just saying!" The three began to talk, more the argue, about how to wake Hugo up when suddenly Hugo shot up, sweat falling down from his forehead. The blonde curled himself into a ball and sobbed. Varian, now extremely worried, say down next to him.
"Woah, what's up, blondie?" Varian asked calmly. The totem was now in sight, but Varian didn't move from his boyfriend's side. As Nuru went to retire it, Hugo collapsed into Varian's chest, slowly making his way to Varian's lap. Varian took out Hugo's hair and began to play with it, humming a quiet melody to try helping. Luckily, it helped Hugo calm down and steady his breathing. Once calm, Varian asked what happened, but Hugo didn't reply.
"Okay then.. Will you be alright to walk?" Varian asked as Hugo slowly got up from his lap. Hugo nodded, putting his hand out for his hairband. Varian passed it to him.
"You sure?" Varian asked as Hugo tied his hair back up.
"Yes, I'm sure," Hugo's voice came out broken, hurt. "Thanks anyway- Woah!" He tripped as soon as he tried to walk. "Oh second thought..." Varian laughed, walking to his boyfriend and helping him to walk.

They walked through Corona, Hugo and Varian walking slowly to avoid Hugo tripping. Yong and Nuru tried to help get through the crowds. Eventually in the crowd, they found Cassandra, Rapunzel and Eugene. Varian stopped suddenly.
"Uh oh..." Varian looked down.
"Varian!" Rapunzel yelled, her voice angry.
"Heyyy, Rapunzel," Varian said awkwardly.
"Still haven't gotten rid of it? At least your friend here had some common sense to dispose of his," Cassandra said, crossing her arms. Varian groaned.
"We're not going back to this, Cassandra. Also, he only disposed of it because he felt like he had to, no thanks to you," Varian rolled his eyes. Cassandra walked up to him, ripping the pendant off. The moon spirit appeared behind him.
"Cassandra! Give me that!" Varian leapt forward, grabbing the pendant again.
"Varian. What happened?" the moon spirit spoke. Varian didn't reply, only put the stone back around this neck.
"Varian, I don't want you to get hurt!" Cassandra yelled.
"Don't mean to join into this, but you gave him a dagger while he was in a shit state. I had to take it off him before he hurt himself," Hugo joined. Everyone froze, even the moon spirit.
"Hugo, I love you, but I wasn't gonna do anything," Varian smiled.
"How about we just leave-?" Nuru also joined in, dragging Yong and Varian, who was still helping Hugo, away.
