Hugo went to grab his dagger, forgetting he didn't grab it from the fight the night before. Varian grabbed a few chemicals. Yong got out a few fireworks.
"Who's there?" asked the young alchemist. Someone walked out of the bush, groaning slightly under their breath.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to see who's camp this was," they smiled.
"Cassie-?" Varian put down his chemicals carefully. Yong took that as his sign to out his fireworks down.
"Hey Vari," Cassandra remained smiling. "Raps sent me to find you when I returned. She said you stopped writing." Varian stood there, frozen.
"Ooh! Is that cassandrioum?" Nuru asked, pointing the the necklace around Cassandra's neck. Cassandra nodded. Her face changed quickly when she remembered she had something. She got out a dagger made from the black rocks. It was like Adira's sword from a few years back.
"Figured you might-" she stopped talking when she spotted the intact moonstone around Varian's neck. "-want this... Varian... Where did you get that?" Snapping out of his daze, Varian went to talk, but Hugo took over.
"And when should he tell you? It's none of your business," he glared at the older women.
"He's my brother and I used to hold that stone, it's not fucking safe Varian, you need to dispose of it, now!" Cassandra went to take the necklace when Varian jumped back.
"Just because you went crazy with it, doesn't mean I will!" Varian yelled.
"I didn't go crazy!" Cassandra yelled straight back. The two began to argue and despite their best attempts no one in the team except Hugo was able to stop them.
"Well at least I didn't build deadly ass robots to kill everyone in Corona just to get my dad back!" Cassandra yelled.
"No but you sure as hell went crazy, practically destroyed all of Corona, almost killed half of the kingdom, fucking kidnapped me, and all of that because you didn't want to talk about your feelings!" Varian retorted. That was when Hugo decided to step in.
"I think you should just leave. If you wanna complain, go complain to someone else. I don't wanna see your dumb ass face around Varian again," Hugo's voice came out cold. It sent shivers down Varian's spine.
"Fine, take the stupid dagger. Only talk to me when you've destroyed the moonstone," Cassandra put the dagger in Varian's hands before walking into the forest. Tears began to well up in Varian's eyes and he fell into Hugo's chest. Hugo rubbed him on the back, retrieving the dagger from his boyfriend's hand. Varian gripped tightly onto Hugo's shirt.
"It's alright Varian," Hugo spoke softly. Nuru and Yong stood back, not knowing what to do as Varian sobbed.

It had been a few hours since the team had met Cassandra. Varian had calmed down a little bit, but now was only concerned about returning to Corona, but he knew they'd have to.
"And you're sure you wanna leave now?" Hugo asked, putting some vials in Varian's bag. Varian nodded.
"When we get there, we can also return the sundrop to its original place," Varian deadpanned. He stood up from the ground after picking up some papers.
"We can do that anytime Varian, I'm more worried about how you're gonna be going back after this morning," Hugo looked his boyfriend in the eyes.
"I'll be fine, don't worry. Lets just get this over and done with," Varian picked up this bag and walked past Hugo. The group walked for a while before arriving at Corona.

Varian walked with his head down, reading the journal from his mother. It never specified where to look, so he didn't know by he bothered. Instead of looking aimlessly through it, he decided to pay Xavier a quick visit.
"Hey Xavies," Varian poked his head around the side of the small shop.
"Ah hello Varian, what is it you need?" Xavier smiled.
"Remember when you told me about the 7 trials? Do you by chance know where we could find the final one?" Varian asked. His group soon followed him in.
"Yes, would you like me to tell you the tale?" Xavier looked at each of them. Varian looked at his group with a questioning look. They all nodded.
"Sure, we have time," Varian smiled, turning back to Xavier. As Xavier spoke, Varian felt a hand on top of his own. He looked to see Hugo's hand. He then looked up to see and smiling Hugo. Varian also smiled, going back to listening to the story.

They now knew where to go, but first they group decided it was smart to go find where to leave the sundrop safely like the sprits had told them. It was when the group climbed over the wall from Corona to old Corona when they appeared again.
"You're already dropping the sundrop off? So soon? Do you not wish to learn about it?" asked the sun spirit.
"Nope, not really. I only agreed because I wanted to insure these idiots were safe. Also, in case you didn't notice, my hair now has a hairstripe so," Hugo said, jumping off the wall. He helped the others down.
"I understand. But just so you know, letting go of the sundrop will not take away the sundrops power considering it's already made it's mark. Only one person has ever been stripped of the power, and that was the previous holder, Queen Rapunzel," the moon spirit joined.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. We don't really care about the power, we just don't want the world to end, thanks," said Varian.
"Yes well-" the sun spirit started when it noticed a red rock sprout form the ground.
"Varian-" the moon sprit began.
"We don't need your help from here. Thanks anyway," Varian said, walking away with his group. Ignored and unneeded, the spirits disappeared with a burst of light. The group walked forward. Soon, they found where to leave the sundrop and placed it down carefully. With a sudden glow, the sundrop freed itself from the pendent and laid buried in the ground.
