AN: So sorry if I offend anybody but im using she/her pronouns for mineta. this was when he was a little kid and didn't realize that he was a boy. his deadname is manami ig. Im so sorry if this offends any trans people, if it does please let me know and i will change it! Also, i wanted to say again that i write this story at my own pace because i want this to be the best quality it can be. and i am still coming up with the backstory for mineta and other stuff. i am also getting older now and my opinions are changing so there may be changes to older chapters. another thing i want to add is that i do not condone the actions of mineta in the anime and manga. i never said this. i don't enjoy him harassing the girls in any form. i just wanted to make this book because i found his character interesting. but this doesnt mean that i hate him and i also dont care if you are okay with his actions. i cannot control you so do whatever makes you happy :) i hope that cleared up some confusion. onto the next chapter!

⚠️TW: Child abuse, sexual harassment and assault, and suicidal thoughts!!⚠️

"Sis, why do people at school not like me?" The little kid sighed. "Aw, what do they say to you?" She picked her up and sat her down on the bed next to her. "Well, they say I act like a boy. They say that I should do girly stuff." Manami frowned. Lola thought for a while, then came up with a response. "Its okay. Do you feel like a boy?"
"Sometimes. I just thought it was because I didn't like the girls in my grade. I don't get it." She asked, confused as to what her sister meant. Lola laughed. "Its okay, hun. You'll figure yourself out." Lola hugged her younger sibling. The moment was short-lived. "Lola! Get your ass down here!" A male voice screamed from downstairs. "Shit." Lola whispered under her breath. "Manami, I gotta go for a bit. You'll have to stay with Akira." The older sister couldn't stand leaving manami, knowing her brother. 14 years old and she has to be the mother figure for her younger sister. "No! Don't leave me here. Please." Manami sobbed. Lola's heart hurt. She knew she was the only one who truly loved Manami. Nobody else understood her. They only had each other. That's why it hurt having to leave each other. "I'm sorry.. I'll be back later. Love you." Lola sat up and headed downstairs. Her "father" awaited her downstairs. "What took you so long, bitch?" Her father threatened to slap her. "IM SORRY! I'm sorry. I was just talking to Manami." She shielded her face in fear. "Whatever. I don't give two shits about any of you. Just get in the car. You're lucky I can't make you walk to school." He scoffed. Lola had no response because she didn't want to show up to school with bruises. The car ride was silent. As it always was. Her brother was home sick, and her mother was.. actually she didn't know. But she didn't care. She wasn't her mother. Just a girl who's husband accidentally didn't pull out of. 3 times. She wasn't in any part of her life. She was always out partying or probably cheating.. not that Lola cared. And- shit. The car pulled up to her school. "Get out." He demanded. She didn't bother saying goodbye as the car sped off. "Great." She muttered. School sucked just as bad. No friends. No good grades. No good reputation. No nothing. Everybody either thought she was weird, or made up bad rumors. Lola walked up to her locker and immediately an older girl started harassing her. "Heyy slut, what new guy do you have this week?" Her friends laughed behind her. "Jessica, leave me the fuck alone." She didn't look at her. "Aw, you're just afraid that we'll tell the principal about you having sex with a teacher." She smiled. Lola knew that it wasn't true. But she couldn't do anything since everybody said it was true. "Besides, what are you gonna do? Walk on the walls to get away from me?" The bully snickered. "Okay. What do you want." She stared at her. Jessica giggled. "You're so good at this! And another thing you're really good at is making hall passes. Make us some." She laughed with her friends behind her. She scowled at her but reluctantly digged through her backpack to find blank passes. "Fine." She scribbled up a pass. "Here." She slammed the pass on Jessica's hand. The group of girls giggled down the hallway and left Lola alone. She hated their guts. But she couldn't do anything.
