This chapter will be written is Sei's perspective.

"Hello, Mineta!" I greeted him. "Hi, Sei. Uh, we're still going to the clinic right?" He mumbled. Why would he ask that? Of course we are going to the clinic. "Correct! I know it's only your second visit, but I'd like to do an exercise with you." I explained. Mineta kept quiet after that. I knew he wasn't being rude. I've gotten a person like this before. She was so depressed and had severe anxiety. She was a lot like Mineta. She had an awful childhood, she had to raise her own sibling while having terrible parents. Everyone would use her because she would let them walk all over her. I never really got to know much else. I wish I could've helped her more.

"Oh! We're here. Was the ride okay? Did we not talk enough?" I questioned. Mineta perked his head up. "What? No! No! It was perfect." He replied. He did not seem like he was telling the truth at all. You can tell by his body language. He doesn't look people in the eye when he's lying. It's quite obvious if you look for it. It's basically screaming in your face "I'M LYING!" This is exactly what we need to go over. We arrived in my cozy office, and I gestured for him to sit down. He acts as if he isn't allowed to sit anywhere he wants. I understand that he can't really help it though. If only him and my son were friends, they would be perfect for each other. My son is the most patient person alive, I swear.
My thinking gave me a little idea. I decided to run a little test on Mineta. "Woah! Mineta, you aren't allowed to sit there." I suddenly exclaimed. "Oh- i-i thought that you said I could sit anywhere?" He mumbled. "Nah, you have to sit on the floor." I replied. Mineta slowly sat down on the floor. Ah-hah! "There right there! That's what we need to talk about today," I screamed. "Mineta, why did you let me do that to you? You knew that I allowed everyone to sit anywhere, but I changed the rules for you- just because I could." I added. "I don't know, I just felt kind of cornered. I didn't want to be selfish or be rejected." Mineta responded. I knew that was the answer. Whenever someone is afraid of saying no, its most likely because they are afraid of rejection or abandonment. "Honey, you need to learn your boundaries. Okay, here's a question. Do you always feel like you push your feelings aside to make way for others?" I questioned. "Uh... Yes, a lot." He replied. "Can you tell me an incident where this happened lately?" I asked. "I mean, It happens almost every day. My entire class hates me so my feelings never get taken into consideration," He started. "If you want an example, we were all deciding where to go as a class, but they wouldn't take my vote. I didn't really care that much though. It just would've been nice If I got to pick since It was my birthday and all, but, whatever." Mineta shrugged. Is... is he serious? They were all hanging out as a class, and they forgot it was his birthday? "Did they forget it was your birthday?" I inquired. "Oh, no, they were fully aware. They just thought it was be a good excuse to hang out. Not a lot of places like a million teenagers coming into them." He laughed. "Mineta, your wants and feelings should never be determined by others." I put a hand on his shoulder. "You should always communicate your wants, needs, and feelings. Even if they are rejected. Don't ever let someone control you just because they can." I stated. Suddenly, Mineta looked like he was about to cry. "Aw, sweetie! Is it okay if I hug you?" I asked. "Yes!" He screamed through tears. He must really need a hug. "I'm sorry, this is just the first time in a long time someone has said that to me." He smiled, desperately trying to stop his tears. "Don't apologize for crying. Cry in here, cry in class, cry in a store, cry in front of a crowd! No one should ever make fun of you for crying. And if they do, you know who to come talk to." I giggled. "Thank you so much, Sei. I really needed that today." He pulled away from the hug. Abruptly, a timer went off. "I guess thats the end of our session. So, what have you learnt?" I inquired. "Respect your own feelings, and don't let people push you around?" He explained. "All right, off you go!" I ordered. Mineta walked out of my room. Man, that kid is so sweet. How come people don't like him? It's not like he has an alter ego during class. He let people walk over him just because he didn't want to be selfish... I can't believe that. I hope I am able to help him, but at the same time I want him to stay with me for a long, lon-
Suddenly, Mineta wrapped his hands around me. "Sorry! I had to hug you one last time." He sighed. "Its fine! Bye Mineta!" I yelled. He waved goodbye as he left my office.
Damn, is my son gay? I got some good options.
