"Ten, Nine, Eight, seven, six, five-" Abby was counting down the seconds until Gibbs would step out of the elevator with his coffee in hand.
"Four, three," the elevator pinged on arrival "two," the doors slid open "one!" Abby smiled joyfully, as Gibbs stepped out, walked towards us, coffee in hand.
And imedeatly picked up his desk phone that was ringing violently.
"Right." slamming the phone down. "grab your gear." he marched out again, coffee in hand.
"Thought he would stay for longer." Abbs sighed.
I laughed slightly, picked up my coat and bag and followed dinozzo and McGee into the elevator.
"What is it this time boss?" Dinozzo asked as we got into the car.
"Dead marine."
"Where?" I asked, slipping on my coat.
"At a hotel not far from here." Gibbs replied driving towards the hotel.
--------------------------------
"Dead marines." Tony said, as I clicked away with the camera on one of the dead marines, lying on the floor.
"What's their connections?" McGee asked oout loud, looking around the small room.
"There," I pointed to both of their name badges. "both privates, both Sigton."
"Brothers?" Tony asked, bending down beside me.
"Probably."
"Ah," Duckie said standing in the doorway. "Some ones going to have to leave to allow us in."
"This place is tiny." palmer said, squeezed behind Duckie.
"McGee - photos. Zeva, Dinozzo hotel reception. Find out everything about who's been here, when, reactions. Details." Gibbs said, unzipping a single suitcase that was hidden - well - at the back of the wadrobe.
"Boss." I said, standing from my crouched position, handing McGee the camera and walking out, followed by Dinozzo. Who almost as soon as we left took my hand gently.
"Rule 12 tony." I sang, trying to hide a smile.
"I don't care Zeva." he said as we walked down the stairs to the reception.
"Hi, NCIS can we talk to you about the inhabitants of 23A?" the young lad at reception looked up, examined Tony's gold badge and cleared his throat.
"What do you want to know? Sir." he added.
"When did he arrive?" I asked.
"Well Mr I Sigton arrived on the 17th, came and went a few times. I don't know whether he was staying or not, he was booked to stay in but seemed to never be here over night. The pair were never seen together; well I never saw them."
"Well," I turned to look at tony "I think that's us." he nodded with me "thank you." i said, as we walked away.
"Don't you want to know about the other sir?" we both stopped and turned.
"The other?" Tony said, in his dramatic way.
"Yes. Mr A Sigton. He was staying in 13A." the boy looked scared, well Tony can have that affect on people.
"Can we have the room key for his room please?" I asked gently, taking the key. "thanks." I smiled and we walked away again.
"Oh, there had been some complaints." he began again.
"Can't this guy just spit it out all at once?" tony muttered as we once again spun round on our heels to face him.
"Around who?" I asked.
"Both of them. Complaints about arguing,"
"Do you have any record of the complaints?" I asked, walking back towards the desk.
He nodded "we do yes, some where excuse the mess." he mumbled opening a cupboard behind the desk, un covering a large amount of papers.
"Quick as you like son." Tony said, coming back placing his hand on the small of my back.
"Oh sorry."
"Dinozzo." Gibbs voice echoed across to us and Tonys hand left my back as he turned quickly to face the boss.
"Yes boss."
"What have you got for me?"
"Well sir, Mr I Sigton was staying in 23A - or he booked that room-" he began
"It's not totally cleared up for us boss." I put out there as I got handed a load of scrumpled up paper to sort through.
"And mr A Sigton. Was staying in 13A." Tony finished.
"Staying here? You got the key?" Gibbs said holding his hand out.
"Yes." the key was exchanged.
"Great," he looked at all the papers. "what?"
"Oh complaints about the two men." I said quickly, glancing at Tony.
"Well good. You two go through them tonight."
