I sat, cross legged, on the edge of the bed, facing away from the doorway. Everyone was either in bed or on their way, I decided that even though this was a 'safe house' I didn't feel that safe. so in case those lovely men came back for me - this time I was going to be extra prepared, my knifes were laid out beside me and my guns on the bedside table.

Sharpening my knifes, cleaning them and sharpening them again. Making sure they were sharper than the sharpest razors.

I felt the weight of the bed shift, my hand griped a knife, I span round - not letting my eyes take a look at the face - forcing them off the bed and pushing them up against the wall.

"Woah, geez Zeva it's me, calm down," I pressed the blade against an Adams apple.

Looking up at the eyes below the Grey hair, I laughed and walked away from him "Gibbs...im sorry..."

"Jumpy are we tonight Zeva?" he asked as I put away my collection of weapons.

"You heard what Duckie said."

"That you would stab the first person who came through your door, yes I heard that."

I sighed, looked up at him and chuckled softly. "Yes, I suppose that is what he could of said."

"Well I just came to say good night."

"Thank you, Goodnight Gibbs." I smiled as he kissed my cheek, he nodded and went out the door and passed Tony.

"Be careful Dinozzo, she's very jumpy." Gibbs laughed lightly and walked away.

I sighed and looked around the room, bar some bags, a bed, a chair, a small desk and two bedside tables, the room was empty. Empty, cramped and tiny.

Three things that made you feel safe in a safe house.

"Don't tell the new Mossad director Tony..."

"On those frequent occasions I keep meeting him or her in wall-mart"

I punched him playfully as the rest of my knifes were hidden away "I'm serious I want to completely leave Mossad, break every tie I ever had with them."

"Why?"

"Because I have crossed their paths too many time. I want ... I need to be completely focused on NCIS. On the team."

"You are always Ziva." he smiled and sorted a kink in my hair

"Well I need to leave them, for good. I fear this may be the beginning of something not so good"

"They wouldnt have any reason to kill you would they?"

I laughed a little and turned to face him

"You can be really sweet sometimes Tony."

"Sometimes? what do you mean sometimes? I should hope I am a loving boyfriend who Is sweet all the time." he protested

"You mean when you're not trying to cram a movie quote into every sentence."

"I do not do that." He mumbled.

"Relax American." I smiled and stood up, his hands loosely around my waist stopping me from moving.

"I never want to lose you."

"We're practically spy's, you will."

"But I won't."

"If you say so."

"And I do." he smiled triumphantly and kissed my head, then turning to a corner of the room to get changed and I finished putting away my guns and knifes.

"How's the pain?" He asked, getting into bed.

"Painful in the shower, though I think cleaning it helped a little." I winced, it was painful changing.

"It will heal."

"And how do you know that?" he looked a little taken a back, so was I "I'm sorry, I don't know where that came from."

"Relax Israeli ." Tony smiled and slid a gun under his pillow.

Relax .

Easier said than done.
