I turned around at he stood in front of me just a few inches away, wearing another suit with some bird like animals on it, a black tie and shiny black shoes.

"What a pleasure, a guest.", he said with a low but soft voice.

I met his almost black eyes, surrounded by dark eye shadow, a few freckles on his cheeks, and berry-coloured lips. He stared at me, not blinking once, just raising an eyebrow.

"H.....hello, I......I wanted......erm......you forgot your papers earlier.", I stuttered.

"Interesting.", he came closer staring into my soul.

"Here.", I held it in front of my face.

He took it without a word, putting it into his jacket, not leaving me with his eyes.

"You are not very talkative. Is something wrong?", he came so close I could feel his breath.

"No.....I erm.....wanted to...erm", I walked backwards until I fell over and landed on the steps.

"Are you scared of me?", he leaned forward his hands behind his back.

"Me? No.....I......erm.....maybe."

"Good.", he had a small smile on his face.

"Drink?"

"What?"

"What kind of host would I be if I don't offer you a drink?"

"Not thirsty but thanks."

"Oh, I insist, and I won't let you leave without one."

"Oh, okay."

"Follow me.", he went up the stairs, I could see the red soles of his shoes, from what I heard of the women in my family, these things must be expensive as hell.

I followed him to another big room, still red carpet on the floor, but now a fireplace in the middle of the head side of the room and on both sides tall shelves with hundreds of books.

In front of the fireplace two big chairs and a small table with glasses between them. He invited me to sit down with his hand, he was scary but seemed like a gentleman.
