        [3 Weeks After the incident]

So, Oliver never came back and I'm very worried about him. The past weeks have been very busy. So, Mom kicked me out, I bought a house, I got accepted into collage, and now I currently have a dog named Max.

Also, you know how Aiden supposedly got "Cursed"? Well, he's sick now. He wants to believe that it wasn't the dumb curse, but we both know that it could be.

But, does Oliver actually have these powers to curse people? Only he knows that.

Mom is worried about both Oliver and Aiden, but she couldn't care less about me. Yes, she did find out that I snuck out and got drunk. I do regret doing that to be honest.

I put my pencil down and closed the book I've been writing in.  Max looked up at me from my feet.
"Hey there big guy. Are you hungry?" I spoke softly to him. He started to wag his tail.

"I'll take that as a yes." I stood up from my seat and walked over to the kitchen. I grabbed a can of food and then poured it in his bowl.

My doorbell suddenly rang and then Aiden came through the door.

"You're lucky I didn't die on the way here. I kept sneezing while riding my bike." Aiden said, shutting the door behind him.

"I thought that Mom wouldn't let you come here?" I leaned against the counter while Max ate his food.

"Oh, I'm not. I told her I was going to a friend's house. I get lonely down there y'know. Ever since.. That happened." He looked down to Max.

Moments of silence passed.

"I uh, I started going to school." He said awkwardly. He took a breath in, as if he was nervous. "When I started to go, people kept getting sick. Each day I go, more people are gone. Even the teachers." He said worriedly.

Right. The curse.

"Well," I breathed in. "I'm sure that it's just allergies. Or maybe it's the stomach bug. But, I wouldn't worry too much about it."

"Are you sure, Logan? I really hope it is that. I mean, what are the chances that the night that... He  'cursed' me, everyone else started to get sick all of a sudden when I went to school."

"Aiden, you should play with Max for a bit." I said, to change the subject.

"Okay." He knew I purposely changed the subject.

I heard another knock on the door.

"Did you invite someone over?" Aiden asked.

"No, actually." I answered.

Jack walked in.

"Oh hey! I didn't know Aiden was here!"  He said surprisingly.

" Well I didn't know that you were coming." I said, walking over to him.

" Hey Aiden! It's been a while since I saw you." Jack walked over to Aiden and rubbed his head. Aiden obviously tried to move away from him.

"Where are you going?" Jack said.

"I don't want to get you sick." He looked down to the ground.

"Pfft. You won't get me sick. Do you guys want to go shopping?" Jack asked, looking over to me.

"Well, I need some groceries so, sure. What about you, Aiden?" Me and Jack looked over at him.

He hesitated at first and then agreed to go with us.

We all climbed in and Jack started to drive to the store.

There was this awkward silence between the three of us every time a new conversation ended.
