I suddenly jolted awake. The first thing I thought of was Kai. I quickly searched around and noticed that I wasn't in the same place as before. I was in a huge abandoned building. Vines were growing everywhere, similar to veins. There was also a piece of paper with writing on it, next to my foot. I picked it up and read it.
Sorry I had to knock you out. You would have killed me!

Kai is... Infected?
No. That can't be right. Kameron is just messing with me. Right?
I frantically ran through all of the rooms and searched inside them for Kai.
"Kai?! Are you here?!" I yelled.
No response.
I continued to look through different rooms. Soon, rooms turned into floors. Where could Kai be? My voice was almost dead from screaming. About 15 minutes in, I heard a groan come from the room next to the one I was in.
"Kai?" I calmly walked over to the room and peeked inside. It was Stanley. He had a note too. Should I grab it and risk him seeing me or just leave. I'm not risking it. I'm not looking for the note, I'm looking for Kai.
"Aiden?" Stanley groaned and tried to stand. He hissed and quickly covered his ankle with his hand. "Listen, I can explain!" He laughed a little while breathing heavily.
"You sound like a maniac." I backed away.
"Please? Just help me up." His voice wobbled a little.
"No. You tried to kill me! I'm not helping you, I'm helping Kai." I turned to leave.
"You don't know where he's at, do you?" He chuckled.
I growled and walked away, leaving Stanley behind. The last place to check was the top story. I walked up the stairs and called for Kai.
"Aiden!? Is that you?!" Kai yelled back.
Finally an answer.
"Yes! Yes it's me! Where are you?" I ran everywhere.
I then found him quickly after. He was curled up into a ball in the corner. I rushed over to him.
"Kai! Are you okay?" I quickly got worried.
"I don't know. I can't see and everything hurts Aiden. What's happening to me?"
Tears started to form in my eyes. I quickly thought of something to do. " C'mon Kai, get up. I can find someone to help us." I grabbed him and lifted him up. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder so he wouldn't fall over.
We walked out of the building and looked around. But then Stanley appeared behind us.
"Aiden, Kai! My brother is a doctor! He can fix Kai." He yelled.
"We aren't going to your psychopathic brother!" I yelled back.
"Do you want Kai to live?"
"I do! That's why I'm not going to Henry or whatever his name was."
"It's Harald, not Henry." Stanley corrected me.
"Whatever. Just leave us alone!" I ignored him from now on and left Stanley behind.
"Aiden, what if he was telling the truth?" Kai managed to say.
"Don't listen to him."
"Aiden, Oliver is with Harald! That's who he was with! Joseph was a fake name!"
I turned to Stanley. "Does Oliver know?" I said with a blank expression on my face.
"Yes, he does know. The reason why he didn't tell you was because he was scared that you would hurt Harald. Harald is all he has right now." He took a step towards me.
