Chapter 15: No Longer Secretive

Amity woke up the next day in Luz's arms who was sleeping soundly. She looked at the time, 6:15 am. Since school started at 8 and Luz's house was closer to Hexside, she was no longer sleeping under her mother's roof, she finally can wake up a little later than her usual 5:30 in the morning. She gave Luz a small peck on the cheek and slowly crawled out of Luz's arms to get ready for school. She got up and went into the bathroom to take-

"Can you not follow me in the bathroom?"
Uhm- I'm narrating?
"At least not when I need to take a bath or something. It's weird."
Well how else am I supposed to tell what the readers what you're doing?
"Just say I'm going to the bathroom to get ready. Don't need to say every single thing I do."
Lemme think...no.
"I will break your ankles when you sleep so you better watch-"
Yeah, yeah, whatever. Lemme continue my narrating.

Before I was rudely interrupted, she got up and went into the bathroom to take a bath then waking Luz up. As she finished her bath, Luz was waking up, "morning princess," she said in a husky voice, stretching while rubbing her eyes. "Morning Luz. Slept well?" Luz let out a hum, "I'm good. You?" She questioned. "Yeah, I slept well. Now c'mon or we'll be late for school or before the narrator quickly skips us forward in time." Luz got up and went into the bathroom as Amity went to put on her uniform.

After their breakfast, or what was supposed to be breakfast because Luz wanted something else for breakfast instead of french toast, they decided to get breakfast at Luz's coffee shop. "Why didn't you want french toast?" Amity asked, a little pissed off. "I wanted you for- I mean, I wanted you to make me pancakes. I had french toast last week," she grumbled. "That was last week, this is this week. You could've just gave it to me instead of whining like a child." Luz rolled her eyes at Amity's comment. Practically, Amity had made Luz some french toast but Luz didn't want because she wanted Amit-, pancakes since she had french toast last week. She kept whining like a child then threw her toast to the wall.

But even if that's what Luz said, we all know what she really wanted to say. As we continue, they stopped by the cafe, Hunter was busy at the register. The sound of the bell making a small 'ding ding' as Luz opened the door. She grabbed Amity's hand, intertwining their fingers as the entered. Hunter looked up from in front of a customer, "oh hey guys." A  greeting smile on his face as he saw them. "Hey Hunter, how's it going?" Luz questioned. "All good. We got a new regular here since you haven't came to work like the usual mornings. Here she is." The girl turned away from Hunter to face them. When the girls saw who it was, they instantly let go of each others hands.

"Hey guys."

It was Willow. "Ha-hi Willow," Luz spoke. "What are you doing here?" She continued. "Getting coffee duh. How bout you two? What are you dong here, together?" She raised an eyebrow at the two. "The same thing as you. Getting coffee, what else? Drugs? "She joked getting a nudge from Amity, "ow." Amity rolled her eyes at Luz's pain, "alright, see you around Willow." Willow bid them fair well and a smile to Hunter before leaving. He blushed at the girl, a smile on his face. She's so pretty. I hope she- "Earth to Hunter." Luz snapped her finger in front of his face to get his attention.

Which worked.

"Oh uh sorry. The usual?" She nodded her head, "to-go. We're gonna be late for school." He turned his back on her to make their drinks as they waited. After getting their coffee, they left the place and left for school.

Luz was waiting outside of Amity's english class to head to lunch with her. "Heya princess. Whatchu learn in English?" She asked. "Nothing much, Mrs Micheals gave us free period to revise for an up coming test next week. As usual, the girls are busy gossiping, guys in the back were busy...whatever they were doing." Placing her things in her locker while chatting with Luz as they walked to the cafeteria for...well lunch.

"What does the cafeteria lady even do to these mac n cheese? They're so cheesylicious!" Gus exclaimed, savoring the taste in his mouth. "Gus, don't eat to fast, you're gonna choke." He ignored Willow and continued to scarf down his food, until he actually choked on it. Everyone started laughing at Gus, Willow patting his back so he doesn't choke. Talking about what ever happened to them, making dirty jokes every few minutes. Amity was sitting beside Willow, across Luz. Luz was talking with Skara about something that wasn't really important.

Remembering what happen earlier at the cafe, Amity pulled Willow closer so she could whisper, "do you like Hunter?" She asked. Willow started smiling, remembering the cute barista from earlier this morning. "I guess he's kinda cute. Why? You like him?" Amity shook her head, "I like someone else." Willow and Boscha being the only one who knows about her relationship with Luz, she couldn't say anything about it. Even if she pretends not to know about it, she wanted them to say it for themselves. It wasn't her business to talk about but Willow isn't always the innocent girl we see.

An idea popped into her mind, knowing this would sound dumb but hey, Luz is dumb so.

"Hey Luz." Luz turned her attention from Boscha to look at Willow, "yeah?" A smile on Willow's face, as usual, she wouldn't seem like she would murder someone or plot anything. "Amity has something to tell you." Now all the attention from their table was at Willow. "I do?" Amity looked at her in confusion, sipping her orange flavored Caprisun. "Amity's pregnant." And with that my dear readers, caused Gus to choke on his food again, Amity spitting out her juice at Skara, Boscha to drop her spoon and Luz...excited?

"Aww, amor. You should've told me this sooner. When did you find out? Is a boy or girl? When are they due? We're gonna be mothers. But that was fast, didn't we just do it like a few days ago?" Luz said all excited and confused, mostly, excited.

Amity facepalmed herself, embarrassed at what Luz just said." Luz, are you stupid? You're a girl, I'm a girl. You don't have anything that can get me pregnant. Didn't we just learned this in Bio last time? You're lucky your my girlfriend, if not, I would seriously throw you into the damn window," she sighed. Hearing Gus still coughing, she just realized what just happened, everyone at their table heard their conversation. "Oh fuc-"

"Wait so you're dating? And you guys did- Oh my god!" Skara gave a smirk and nudging Luz who was oblivious to what just happened. Amity was embarrassed that Luz said all that including what they did a few days ago. "Guess I can show them that video now," Boscha added. "NO!" Amity screamed. "Video? What video? Send it to me!" Skara gushed. Luz finally knowing what she just said, she stayed quiet, embarrassed at what she said, exposing them like that, same time, she was relived to get that off her shoulders. She looked at Willow, who had a smug look. 'Sorry' she mouthed.

After about 5 minutes, everyone calmed down and congratulated them on their relationship.

"So Luz, who was bottom?"

"Amity."

"Boscha! You're dead."
