Buddy Daddies - Rei Suwa x reader

Mission... Successful?

I may have slept in longer than I should've because I was supposed to be up before the guy knocks at my door, not after. I scrambled up from the couch and over to the door, flattening out my hair and clothes then peaked through the eye hole out of precaution. I saw a man with a package under his arm and opened the door. 

Yup, that's definitely the guy. 

"Hello, how can I help you?" I asked, though already knowing the reason for him being here. 

"I was tasked with giving this to you", the man said, handing over the package then immediately taking his leave. 

"Okaaay, that was weird" I mumbled, taking the package inside and opening it up on the couch. Just as expected, it was the files from Kyu-chan who most likely stayed up all night to finish.  There were two folders, one with the mission details and the other was a background on some of the targets. 

For the next few hours, I carefully read through the lot, taking notes and highlighting important areas while writing down things I'll be needing. I now understood why this mission was a strange one. The main points are as follows:  

This mission will take place exactly three days from now. Two men who work under my brother (Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa) will be undergoing a mission located at a very wealthy and secure establishment. From their last mission, my brother is concerned that this next mission of theirs will not be successful.He wants me to tail them and oversee their work, and if necessary, step in to complete it. I am to record details of what I see and report back to Kyu-chan. 

Sounds straight forward enough. 

I hid the documents in my closet and now that I was fully awake, I took the chance to tidy the place up and think over the plan. It was afternoon before I knew it and therefore headed to my personal storage unit outside the city. There I kept my tools, weapons, and gadgets for missions. These storage units were property owned by our 'secret business' and many hitmen, agents, and assassins used them, so everything stored there was safe. Additionally, I stored my outfits here and took what I needed before returning home to prepare. 

~The Day of the Mission~ 

Y/N sat crouched within the shrubbery outside the gates of the large house. She had been there since the night before, waiting for Kazuki and his partner to show. Though it was a simple sounding mission, she took it with 100% seriousness and focused on the road outside. Apparently these guys had no trouble working in complete daylight. This only made her task a a little bit harder and would really put her skills to the test.  

For this mission, she wore her signature outfit covered head to toe in black. A hood and face mask helped keep her identity hidden while her eyes were out for the world to see. That small feature was on purpose. Her upper arms were bare up until her elbows which wore guards all the way down to her wrists. Her torso was protected by tough leather of similar material to her arm guards, and from her hips flowed a tail coat that reached the tops of her boots. They weren't like the platforms all the girls wore these days but were instead custom designed for maneuverability and stealth. 

Y/N was fully equipped to handle any situation that might happen, but when a truck rolled up to the gate, her eyes widened. Kazuki stepped out of the vehicle but Rei was nowhere to be seen. She assumed he would approach from a different angle, that at least made sense. But what didn't make sense was the other person there with him. 

"Is that.. a child?!?" she wondered aloud. This mission just became that much more difficult. 

The little girl looked no older than a preschooler. Her copper brown hair stopped right before her shoulders in a cute bob, and with an adorable voice, was pleading to Kazuki about something Y/N couldn't hear. The man left the girl in the truck and approached the house as a security system mechanic. Smart, but cliché.
