It's been several months since Thornhill's dark shadow has been wiped off the perimeters of Nevermore. It has been real gloomy for a couple weeks then finally the same spark, chatter and laughter returned to the dark halls of the school.
Sure, the Hyde, or Tyler, did horrible things under the influence of his master/mistress, it still wasn't what he had done from his own intention. So, he was eventually forgiven and released out of prison with very strict regulation that he gotta maintain if he wanted to get back to normal life again.
Wednesday being Wednesday couldn't stay away from him long. The sole fact of him being the Hyde was so much more attratcive to the black hearted teen than hating him for some mere brutal murders. She could care less about them honestly.
As a result of her extreme affection toward this specific honey curled boy, Wednesday approached him a month later and they got back together. But no one knew about this except for Enid.
They often met secretly on dates, hidden from everyone and Enid always covered for her. Their new homeroom teacher, Ms. Daffodil, was not so much of a responsible one, so it was much easier to sneak out.
New principal, Mr. Galopy, was a kind soul, always trying to be friendly with the students and being smiley. Although Wednesday felt something off about the slick black haired man, she remained shut since she had already caused a huge commotion at the school just a few months prior.
Tyler was staying with his father. The man had finally accepted his fault of not keeping his son close or not having knowledge of his well-being earlier, and now he wanted to make up for all those times.
But he was a bit worried for a week now. Tyler has been acting weird. He comes home late at night, even several hours after his Weathervane shift. He'd come with bruises here and there and would often scream awake from nightmares. Donovan could understand about the nightmares at some point, but what about those bruises? He was really worried and knew only one person to call.
"Yes?" The girl's monotone voice came from the other side of the phone.
"Uhm I need to talk to you about something." Donovan said nervously, scratching the back of his head as he swiftly looked behind him to make sure Tyler wasn't within earshot.
"About what? I don't have much time."
"It's about Tyler." He snapped a little and it piqued the teen's interest. "I know you are still together."
Wednesday rolled her eyes. "Just spit it out."
"Well, Tyler's been acting real off for about a week now. He comes home real late and is all bruised up. He screams from nightmares and looks really jumpy and scared all the time. I know something's going on, but he won't tell me. Do you maybe know something about this?"
Sighing a bit loudly, Wednesday played the last few days' events in her mind and she must admit, Tyler did seem a lot troubled, he barely had any focus on the topic they talked about. She only let it slide due to the past trauma he had been through.
"I have noticed as well but no, I don't know anything about what's wrong. But I will figure it out, no worries." She hung up and looked out the window, gazing off into the dark night sky. She inhaled sharply, loving the scent of serenity that floated along the wind.

Wednesday was waiting for her boyfriend just outside the school gates. He was supposed to pick her up for their date night but it has been over an hour already and the boy was nowhere to be seen.
She tapped her foot anxiously on the ground, causing the dried leaves to crunch under her shoe, her eyes constantly glanced down at her watch every second. Normally she wouldn't be this anxious about anything at all, but when it came upon the boy with hazel eyes and puppy looks, she was the softest.
