It was a beautiful day.

The sky was clear, bright and sunny. Warmth spreaded the small town of Jericho.

Tyler had very insistently managed to bring Wednesday to the park so they could lay down on the grass a bit.

Wednesday wore a black half sleeved frock with shoes, her hair was loosely cascaded on her back with a bow sitting perfectly on the back of her head. To Tyler, she looked eathreal.

Tyler was wearing a white tshirt with jeans, his hair was messy and fluffy as usual, they were quite contrasting each other as they laid on the grass. The edges tickling their skin while mild breeze blew around them. It was peaceful.

Even though the girl had agreed to come, Tyler still could sense something was off. She was unusually quiet, obviously she was always quiet but not with Tyler, so he knew something was up.

He bit his lip, contemplating if he should ask or not when the black haired girl solved his denial herself.

"Why do you love me?"

It took the boy off guard. He wasn't prepared for this kind of question. His brows knitted together as a puzzled chuckle left his lips.

"Wh-what? What do you mean?"

Wednesday rolled her eyes and sat up, crossing her legs as she picked on the grass.

"Forget it. Sorry for asking." She mumbled almost inaudibly.

Tyler followed her and stared deeply at her.

He noticed the crinkle on her eyes, shoulders slumped and fingers fiddling anxiously. He smiled, all too well-ly knowing what was wrong.

"Hey." He took her hands, forcing her to face him as he smiled and squeezed her small hands. "Look at me."

Wednesday looked up, immediately feeling a lot assured by how adoringly he was looking at her. The golden around his brown orbs sparkling under the sunrays, making him look even more handsome than she'd like to admit.

"I love you because you're you. You don't pretend, you don't sugarcoat words, you don't fake promise.

Even though you claim to have no heart, you love your friends, your family. You say you hate affection, yet you seek them to the ones you feel safe with. I love you because of how you are, your smile, which is so rare yet so familiar, your dimple, your big, doe eyes, your glamorous hair that only I have the access to run my fingers through." They both chuckled at that;

"Everything about you makes me just love you even more.

Don't ever doubt that, I love you and always will."

When he was done, Wednesday's eyes were moisturized with glistening tears. Sniffing, she looked away to hide the smile that was threatning to spill across her face.

"You're so cheesy." She said then looked back at him, Tyler was grinning like an idiot. "But mine."

This made the brunette grin even more.

"I love you too." Wednesday said softly.

Tyler's smile faltered and his face contorted into a look of pure astonishment and compassion as he heard the words that were so rarely uttered by the goth teen. It made his heart swell with undescribable happiness.

He pulled her closer and their lips ghosted above the other's, breaths mixing as he anitcipated whether she'd kiss him or not. Like always.

Wednesday brought her hands up to bury them in his soft, curly hair as she closed the gap between their lips.

Tyler couldn't stop smiling in it, his hands going around her back, playing with her hair as they kissed.

The kiss was intense and full of passion, tongues tangled and soft sighes of satisfaction were heard. Tyler could only smile.

"Stop smiling, I can't kiss you like this." Wednesday glared, pulling away and watching the grin drop from his face. "But since I love your smile so much, I'll let it slide."

He smiled once more.
