Tyler's POV

I am really nervous.

Wednesday Addams, my crush for a very long time, is coming to my place for our art assignment. We are supposed to draw an emotion of the other person, in order for that, we gotta spend some time together to capture the exact moment.

(A/N:- the emotion art thing is inspired from a Harringrove book named 'Lust')

I have made my room look presentable and arranged some snacks for we may need later. Thankfully, dad is out of town for a case. He's a police officer. Lucky me.

Anyway, I'm literally sweating and the bell rings.

I skip down the stairs and open the door, slightly panting as I give her my biggest grin.

"Hey." I wave, kinda stupid, but I can't help but be stupid around her.

"Hi. Why do you look so happy? Are you excited to spend time with me, Galpin?" He archs an eyebrow, moving past me and entering the house like she owns it.

I am kinda taken aback by her straightforwardness, but it is Wednesday Addams, she's always been like this. And it's part of the reason why I like her.

"Uhm I-uh yeah." I admit, knowing there's no point in denying anymore. "Kinda."

She shrugs. "Calm your pants, tiger. We're just on a project. No need to raise our hopes." She winks. "This way?" She points up the stairs and I nod, swallowing a bit.

She's so- so- gosh, I'm crazy about her. I love how shuts me up and makes me swallow like I've been thirsty for years.

What the fuck am I talking about? I'm going nuts.

"You coming, tight pants?"

Woah. "Y-yeah." I stutter and jump up the stairs.

She gets her stuff out while I arrange our easels and canvases, then get my own colors out.

"So, what did you choose?" She asks, setting up the colors she wants to use. "For my emotion?"

I scratch the back of my head cause I'm nervous to say it to her. I want it to be a surprise because it's one of the emotions that's barely ever on her face. And it happened only once when we both got stuck inside boys' washroom, well, that's a story for another day.

"I haven't decided on it yet. I'm gonna sketch the outer portion for now then I'ma decide the emotion later."

She shrugs, I watch in awe as her hand moves swiftly and very skillfully across the canvas, drifting the lines into a shape of what I guess is me. It baffles me how talented she is.

"Stop staring." She grits, not even looking my way.

"Sorry." I look back at my work and try to get some work done without glancing at her every second.

We continue for about half an hour when Wednesday suddenly stops and stands up. She stretches her arms and wipes her hands before walking around and collapsing on my bed.

Wow, she's really comfortable here.

"I'm hungry. Have you got any snacks?"

"Yeah. I prepared some. I'm sorry I forgot to ask." I stammer like an idiot, abruptly standing up.

"Can you actually chill your pants, Tyler? What's the matter, huh? Why are you so nervous?" She props up on her elbow, eyeing me narrowly, and I feel my heart jumping up my throat.

"I-I'm not. I'm perfectly fine. I'll go get the snacks." I sputter the words out and rush out the room.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
