The loud growling invaded Tyler's eardrums, he grew restless, fighting hard against the restraints.

His heart felt like it was almost beating out of his chest, he was sweating profusely and the only thought inside his head was 'save Wednesday'.

All of their happy memories, each time Wednesday smiled at him, their secret dating spots, or when the girl would open her heart and show him affection, it all made his mind burn and he could feel the blood pumping in his veins.

Tyler let out a blood curdling scream and the familiar feeling of bone crushing and re-forming returned.

He smiled, closing his eyes as his body adjusted to the new built. When he re-opened them, he was fully in his Hyde.

Letting a maddening growl out, he sprinted off to the forest.

***

Wednesday was hiding behind a tree when the noises died down in the slightest.

She dared peeking out when the hideous creature jumped infront of her. She stepped back and stumbled upon a rock, landing on the ground.

She raised her arm to protect herself somehow as the Hyde/Alyssa raised her claw to gash at her but nothing ever came.

Another growl could be heard and then shuffling and growling and fighting sounds were everywhere.

Wednesday removed her arm and gasped when she saw two Hydes hassling each other to death.

"Tyler." She whispered.

Tyler briefly looked at her with silent, pleading eyes and Wednesday didn't see a hideous creature there, she saw the eyes of the boy she loved.

She saw Alyssa raise her claw and swing at the boy, it made her eyes wide and heart wrench painfully.

"Tyler!" She screamed.

Her scream got Alyssa's attention back to her and she lunged toward her once more. But she couldn't reach the dark teen because Tyler grasped around her neck from behind, using his other claw to shove against her stomach and chest.

It was a terrifying sight, Wednesday's heart was thumping loudly and she could see Tyler was weakening from the blood loss. She quickly searched the grounds and found her knife. She lunged to where the Hydes were and pushed the edge in Alyssa's stomach, twisting it with a sick smile on her crooked face.

Alyssa's eyes closed and her body fell on the ground with a thud. They saw her turn back so Wednesday dialed Sheriff's number and called them over.

Tyler also turned back to his human form, Wednesday rushed to him and wrapped her jacket over his shoulders, although it was too small to cover anything.

"Y-you're hurt." Tyler rasped, reaching his hand out to touch the girl's cheek lovingly. She got a small scratch while dodging Alyssa's claws.

She rolled her eyes. "You're the one literally bleeding." She tried to aid at the wound with a handkerchief.

Soon the police cars arrived. Alyssa was taken care of, and they had given their statements. It was 1 in the morning when the couple were finally free to go home.

Wednesday went to Tyler's house. She re-dressed his wound and made him a cup of coffee. None of them uttered a single word, turning the silence into a defeaning battle of perturbation. As Tyler silently sipped on his coffee, Wednesday stared out the window motionlessly.

Eventually, the coffee shop boy decided it was damn time he started some talking.

"I'm sorry." He said, softly but enough for the other person to hear. "I should have trusted you."

He got on his feet, slowly walking towards the goth girl. He gently, cautiously took her hand and held it in his.

"I've been such a bad boyfriend. Please forgive me, Wens." His sultry voice came out in just above a whisper.

Wednesday shuddered, blinking her tears back then finally turned around to look at the teary eyes of the boy.

"I love you." Tyler said when their eyes met.

It was the first time they had uttered these words.

At the beginning of their relationship, Wednesday had made herself clear that she could never love, nor would she accept if he ever loved her. But now as he had actually let those words sputter out like some fallen leaves during Autumn, she could not help herself but reciprocate.

Her hands went up to carefully hold the sides of his face as she pulled him down and their lips met.

Tyler kissed back almost immediately, wounding his arms around her slim waist and pulling her closer to his chest. He softly moved his lips against hers, his fingers stroking her sides in a comforting manner.

While Wednesday kissed him with passion, she was letting her words soak through the kiss, she wanted him to know just how much she loved him, and how far she would go for him. Her kiss was a bit more desperate and heated and Tyler knew it all, he could understand it all.

They parted and Wednesday grabbed the back of his neck to lean his head down and stood on her tiptoes to leave a endearing kiss on his forehead then slid her hands down untill both of them had their hands clasped together.

"I love you too. And I forgive you." She smiled that rare smile of hers, "but promise me you'll trust me from now on. No matter what."

Tyler raised a brow playfully, "even if when you think a rabbit is worth killing?"

"Even if." She challanged.

Shaking his head and nodding gleefully, Tyler gave her the widest grin.

"Alright. I promise."

Their smiles were brighter as they pulled each other in a tight embrace.

"Stay the night." Tyler whispered in her ear before placing a kiss there. He could feel the girl shiver against him, Wednesday blushed.

"I promise, I'll make it worth your while."

The End.
