Tyler was devastated.

All day and night, he only thought about Wednesday. He missed her so much. And he felt awful for not running after her, begging her untill she forgave him and took him back.

He just couldn't bear not being able to hold her, kiss her or have her as his. He stuffed his face in one of his pillows and screamed on the top of his lungs then swiftly sat up and got ready for his shift at the Weathervane.

He was very rich and didn't need to work, but he loved working at the cafe. The owner, Mrs. Hill, was a sweetheart and she treated him as her own son. So, he loved helping her in her business.

He was being unusual and gloomy while serving the customers. The bells jingled and he prepared himself to put on a half, fake smile to welcome the new customer when the fake smile dropped at the sight of Wednesday and another boy, Tucker, coming in.

Tucker was another chocolate boy of their school, not as popular as Tyler, but quite the charismatic one.

Tyler gripped the counters so hard, his knuckles turned white.

"Hello, how can I help you?" He muttered when the pair stopped infront of him.

His eyes briefly landed on the girl's and he swore he saw a flash of longing in them but ignored it.

"I'll take a quad and Tucker will have black coffee. Right?" She looked over at the tall redhead with a slight smile, breaking the honey haired boy's heart even more.

"Right. You always get me, Wens." Tucker bumped fists with her and Tyler felt a punch in the gut.

She even let him call her his given nickname. Tyler felt like throwing hands.

"Sure." He handed them the tag and they went to take Wednesday's usual booth.

Resuming his works, Tyler kept glancing at them every once in a while. Doing so, he even managed to burn his hand from boiling water and caused a few paper plates to fall. But in the end, he ended up with the order in hand and walked up to their table.

"Here's your order." He placed the tray down and noticed how Wednesday's eyes travelled to the burn on his hand.

He could see the hurt and worry swirling in her dark, brown eyes. It made his heart at ease in the slightest. But it evaporated when Tucker swiped the seats and scooted closer to Wednesday, whispering something in her ear.

Tyler curled his fingers into balls, nose fuming as he watched the girl's eyes trail to the other and her lips break into a small smile.

He was trembling from jealousy burning his soul and the last straw was when Wednesday took his hand and patted the back of it while they whispered things to each other.

Without another thought, Tyler grabbed the boy's collars and pulled him on his feet.

"Don't you dare come close to her!" He hissed before punching him square in the jaw.

"Tyler!" Wednesday yelled angrily as she helped the redhead back on his feet, inspecting the red bruise forming on his cheek. "What the hell? Are you out of your fucking mind?!" She turned to her ex with red, angry eyes.

Tyler ran a hand through his hair, other hand resting on his hip as he heaved for a deep breath.

"Are you two together?" He spat the question and glared at her, searching for the truth.

"What? No!" She replied, frowning hard.

"Then how could you let him get this close to you?"

"You're not my boyfriend anymore, Tyler. I don't need to answer to all of your queries!"

"Yes, you do. You don't get to fuck around just after two days of our break-up!"

"Oh, really? But you get to go around and kiss people in your bedroom right after two days of our so-called fight?!"

"I wasn't kissing her!"

"Then what was that on your neck I saw? And your shirt? What the fuck was that, huh?! Answer me!"

"Hailey, she-" he exhaled shakily, eyes tearing up as he spoke the next words. "She tried to take advantage of my unstable state. I was sharing with her about our fight and I was vulnerable, she-she took the chance and forced herself on me. I pushed her back. If you'd stayed, you'd have noticed she was on the floor when you entered." A few tears were down his cheeks and he wiped them away.

Wednesday gulped, everything clicking inside her head and she rubbed her hand over her face with a trembling breath.

"Tyler, I- I'm sorry." She finally uttered, inching a step closer to the boy she still loved. "I didn't know. I was such a jerk, I didn't believe you."

"I'm sorry too. I didn't listen to you, I should've known Hailey was up for something else. I just didn't wanna lose my friends." He said softly, looking down.

"It's okay," Wednesday replied, "And, Tucker and I are only friends. In fact, he's gay. I was helping him set up with Xavier. He's got a crush on that artist for too long to not try." She chuckled.

Tyler gasped then laughed. He turned to Tucker.

"Sorry, man." He reached his hand out.

Tucker chuckled and shook his hand. "It's okay, I understand."

"I'll be leaving now. Talk to you later, Wens." Tucker side hugged her and left.

They stayed silent for a few seconds then Tyler cleared his throat and pouted before speaking, "So? Are we good?" He asked in fear.

Wednesday looked up at him through her lashes and smiled sheepishly, "I guess we are."

She was still giving her lopsided smiles. Tyler rolled his eyes and chuckled, "C'mere, you." He pulled her in by her waist and held her close to place his lips on hers.

Wednesday smiled in the kiss, bringing her hands up to his hair, messing them up as she kissed him with passion and love that were burning through her for longer than she liked.

They could hear the other customers applaud at them which made them break apart. Tyler slightly bowed and earned more claps.

Wednesday just blushed and hugged him tight, inhaling the chocolaty smell he radiated.

"I love you."

"I love you too, Wens."

They said highschool sweethearts didn't last long, but they were proven wrong because our Wedler stayed together all their life untill their hair grew grey and they awaited their death in each other's arms.
