Jo soon arrived home in the early hours. The city was now asleep and peaceful as she drove home. She was now the Chief of General Surgery now that Meredith was promoted to Chief of Surgery. Working endless hours she always came home extremely tired. Only really seeing her daughter on her days off and in the morning since she comes home extremely late. Most of the time her husband Y/N is asleep when she does come home. So she usually just strips down into her underwear and climbs in beside him. Smiling as he wraps his arms around her and pulling her close in his sleep.

Except tonight was different. She had the weekend off and Y/N wanted to spend some quality time with his wife. So as she stripped into her underwear, not realising that Y/N was sat up in bed watching her every move. She turned around to see his figure leaning against the headboard.

"I missed you." He spoke softly as she gave him a smile as she walked towards the bed. He watched her every move as she got in beside him.

"I've missed you." She whispered as she turned to face him. He reached over to turn the lamp on before he caressed her cheek. "I am so fucking happy that I am off for the weekend." She smiled as she leaned into his hand.

"Which means we will still be unable to be completely alone." He smirked as she watched his pupils dialate. "Tessa will be up in a few hours, and I have truly missed every part of you." He told her as she have shivers run down her spine at his tone of voice.

She just leaned in and kissed him passionately. They haven't been intimate in a while, when they were it was quick. A fire burning deep inside her. She has missed being close to the man beside her. Allowing his tongue to roam her mouth. Allowing him to lead her to lay on her back. He rested his arms either side of her head as the kiss went on. He allowed her to push herself up slightly, giving him room to undo her bra and throw it on the ground. Soon moving his lips down her neck, nipping and sucking lightly. Jo moaned softly, trying to keep her sounds to a minimum as to not wake Tessa.

Y/N was kissing down her chest as she shimmied herself out of her underwear, also trying to take off Y/N's boxers.

"I need you Y/N." Jo pleaded as he kicked the boxers off. "It's been too fucking long and I need you. All of you." She let out a surprised moan as his tip pressed against her clit. "I love you more." He told her softly as he held her close. Kissing the top of her head as she fell into a sweet slumber.
