« Chapter Thirtie-One »

"Why do you refuse to sleep?" Sakusa was sat across from Atsumu on his bed.

"Because"

"That's not an answer"

"'Cause I can"

"Your tired though?"

"So? Doesn't mean I should sleep"

"Mmm, no that is actually exactly what it means"

"Why can't I talk to my brother again?"

"Because you will probably kill him. You'd be fine in like a week"
Atsumus gaze quickly changed when Sakusas phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hello Sakusa" His mother started, which made him hold his face in his free hand.
"I want to meet your new partner. I'm coming over tomorrow"

"What? No"

"Why not?"

"Because..."

"It's nonnegotiable" with that the call ended.

"Fuck..Fuck!" Atsumu flinched when he shouted.

"What?"

"My mother wants to meet 'my new partner' but I can't do that actually and I don't think I have anyone I could call" he groaned as he felt Atsumu lift his head up.

"It'll be fine, we can figure something out. Don't worry"

"I love you but you don't know my mother, she's a horrible person. And she doesn't stop till she gets what she wants"

They talked for four hours, trying to think of ways to get around the problem. Meaning Atsumu hadn't slept at all, no matter how many times Sakusa told him to just sleep.

"I have to go to work in like ten minutes" Atsumu had dark black bags under his eyes.

"I really wish you'd just gone to sleep" Sakusa said while buttoning up his shirt.

Atsumu finished getting dressed and put 'his' hoodie on —well Sakusas hoodie.
He was then just stood there for a few minutes with his eyes closed while Sakusa finished getting ready for work.

"Atsumu?" He put his hand on his shoulder.

"Atsu!" He gently shook him by his shoulder.

"Sorry" he blinked a couple times while he got his wallet, phone and keys.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah" Atsumu said as he finished tying his laces.

While they were walking Atsumu tripped up over his own foot and almost took Sakusa down with him.

"You really should have slept, I would've had all night to think anyway"

"Eh it's fine. Anyway, bye love you"

"Love you to" Sakusa gave him a small kiss and they went their separate ways.

"Hey sho" he yawned.

"Hey- did you sleep at all?"

"Nope. Anyway"

"Your funny" Atsumu came back through a few minutes after putting his stuff in his locker and started serving customers. Since he was so tired, he was crabbit and was accidentally rude to Hinata when he was making a drink.

"I'm sorry" he quickly said straight after being rude.

"It doesn't matter your just tired" Atsumu was on break now, he texted Sakusa.

"Can we meet up because we're both on break????"

"Of course, I'll come down to you"

"Okayyy"

Fifteen minutes later Sakusas got there and was looking for Atsumu when he got pulled into the back of the shop, he was startled for a moment but calmed down when he saw it was just his beloved boyfriend.

"Hi" Atsumu smiled up at Sakusa.

"Hi love"

"You said it!-" Sakusa held Atsumus Face in one hand.

"Atsumu" he tried to nod but it was hard. "If you say that everytime I'll never say it again" Sakusa held back a bit of laughter as Atsumu leaned forward and kissed him.
He flinched slightly when he felt the cold metal of a ring Sakusa was wearing against his cheek.

"Atsumu, what did you do with the-" Hinata stopped dead in his tracks.

"Sho!"

"Never mind!" He started walking away as Atsumu frantically called after him.
Sakusa couldn't help but laugh.

"This isn't funny Sakusa!"

"It's totally funny, everytime we think we're hidden someone walks in on us making out"

"It's not-" he cut himself off with a yawn. "Not funny"

"Your just cranky cause your tired"

"I am, I really am" Atsumus tone suddenly changed as he leaned against Sakusa, hugging him a little.
He whined a little which made Sakusa thing of something else, he had a small smirk but lost it when Atsumu looked up.

"What?"

"What are you smiling at?"

"Last time you made that noise, we were fu-" Atsumu covered Sakusas mouth with his hand.

"Shut yer mouth" Sakusa bit Atsumus Hand which made him pull away.

"Asshole" Atsumu said as he yawned again, only getting more tired and crankier.

"When you get home are you just going straight to sleep?"

"What? Nah"

"You always surprise me Miya" Sakusa kissed him again but Atsumu pulled away.

"No, next thing you know someone else I know will pop up" He said leaning his weight onto one leg and folding his arms.

"Oh shut up Atsumu" Sakusa rolled his eyes as he grabbed Atsumus Face and kissed him.
A few moments later when they both pulled away, Atsumu put the back of his and to his mouth and when he pulled it away Sakusa looked confused.

"What?"

"I had your stupid spit on my lip" Atsumu muttered. Sakusa just smirked.

"I have to be back in five minutes"

"Can I walk back with you?"

"If you have time"

"It's fine. Sho will understand" Atsumu took Sakusas hand as they walked out.

"What are you gonna do about your mother coming going to your apartment later"

"I completely forgot. I've just been so busy.."

"You could just say that their unable to come?"
Atsumu was swinging their hands back and forth while they walked.

"That's what I'm going to have to go with probably..but she'll know somethings up"

"Or-"

"You still can't come" Sakusa stopped so he was facing Atsumu, since they were at Fortham now anyway.

"But-" Sakusa held Atsumus Face and kissed him lightly.

"I'll see you later"

"Bye" They both smiled at eachother and went their separate ways.
