"If an opportunity like that comes to you, I want you to let it pass." I answered directly.

He smiled and nodded. "Okay. Noted on that, Mish."

I also smiled. We continued to walk along the park. Our hands were brushing against one another and it never fails to make me giddy because of it!

Hawakan mo na, Kai!

But, my inner monologue got distracted because there was a golden retriever who walked in front of us! Dogs would never fail to distract and stop me!

May leash ang aso at noong lumakad siya sa harap namin, I can't help but follow the dog and squatted in front of it. I pet the dog and the dog was even wagging its tail because of my touch.

"Hi, there, good boy. Aren't you the cutest?" I gushed over the dog as I continued to pet him. Naramdaman kong nakatayo na sa likod ko na si Aiden.

"Uy, cute ka daw. Hindi alam ni ate na matigas ulo mo." The dog owner jokes. I chuckled and squished the face of the dog with both hands. Gusto ko na tuloy umuwi because I miss my dogs so much!

Lumingon ako kay Aiden at nakitang nakangiti siya sa akin. Ang gwapo!

Tumayo na ako at akmang magpapaalam na sa aso, when the dog owner cleared his throat.

"Uhm...May aso ka ba? Pwede nating sabay sila ilakad since you're fond of this dog." He chuckled awkwardly.

"Oh, I would love to. But, my dogs aren't interactive like your dog. Baka makipag away lang sila." I chuckled. Of course, it's a lie! My dogs are so friendly that anyone could dognap them because sasama talaga sila!

I lied because I sensed his move to me. I am not interested in that. I have Aiden na kaya!

"Oh, sige. Bye ka na kay ate!" The dog owner tried to ease the awkwardness he felt because of my rejection.

I squished the face of the dog again as a sign for goodbye. I swear, I will squish my dogs later!

I went back to Aiden and stood in front of him. Tumingala ako sa kanya. "So, where are we going next?" I asked.

He smiled. "Hindi ka pa pagod?"

I shook my head. "Not that much. Ikaw ba?"

"Hindi rin. Come on, let's continue our walk."

I smiled at him and started walking beside him. May mga tinuturo siyang spots where it would be great to take pictures kaya pumunta kami doon to take my picture. As a photographer, camera shy si Aiden!

Siya ang nag picture sa akin and I posed for him. He insisted to use his phone kaya pinabayaan ko na.

Afterwards, we continued walking while talking about everything. I laughed as he talked about his experiences with his friends.

"There was one time during our college days that Galen went to school with a hangover. Nagyaya kasi uminom sa bahay ni Ryder kaya hinayaan na namin. Hindi kami gaano uminom pero siya ang grabe. So the result is him puking his heart out in our first classroom the next day."

I laughed. "That must have been disgusting to clean! Bakit hindi niyo pinigilan na uminom knowing may classes the next day?"

"Naririndi na kami sa kapipilit niya kaya pinagbigyan na namin. Kawawa rin eh."

"Galen is the chaotic one in your group of friends, for sure."

"Yes. To be honest, ang sarap nang sapakin minsan." Aiden laughed.

"Oh, I would like to see you try!"

"Kapag napagbigyan na ng pagkakataon."

I chuckled. Our hands continued to brush against one another as we walked. I breathe in a huge puff of air before linking my arms with his. Nakita kong bahagya siyang nagulat sa pag ikot ng braso ko sa braso niya pero afterwards, he just smiled and let me be. I also smiled as I held on his biceps as we walked.
