What is this familiar feeling? [XIAOTHER]

Chapter 15: "Wedding Plans" pt.1

Aether was in the middle of making dinner for him and Xiao.
Xiao slowly opened his eyes, his nose engulfed with the sweet smell of Aether's cooking. It always smelt delicious and made him feel calm.
Xiao sat up slowly, looking at Aether's direction. He stood up and began walking to him.
Aether was too busy with cooking he didn't hear or see Xiao coming his way. Xiao softly wrapped his arms around Aether's waist, burying his face into his shoulder.
"Ah! Xiao? When did you wake up?"
"..not too long ago."
"Well, dinner is almost ready! You can sit down and i'll serve it to you!"
"No. I wanna stay here."
Xiao made his grip a bit tighter than before. Aether chuckled.
"Okay okay, I'll let you stay."
Aether continued cooking with a smile on his face.

After Aether had finished cooking, he grabbed out two plates with silverware. Xiao was still holding onto him.
"Can you go sit down now? I'll be right next to you."
"...."
Xiao hesitantly let go of Aether and sat down, Aether following.
"I hope you enjoy it!"
Aether smiled brightly at Xiao, making Xiao's heart flutter.
They both began to eat, each sharing a smile with one another.

Soon after they finished, Xiao grabbed Aether's hand and took him to their room.
"Xiao? Is something wrong?"
"No, nothing at all. I just want to.. hold you."
Aether blushed softly. His cheeks turning into a faded pink. He smiled to himself.
"Okay!"

Xiao placed his hand onto Aether's back and softly pushed him onto the bed, Aether responding with a soft gasp.
"Xiao? W-What's wrong?"
"..."
Xiao crawled on top of Aether. He began to slip his hand up Aether's shirt.
Aether quickly groaned in response. His cheeks became flushed. Xiao pressed his lips against the blonde's.

Morning came. Aether slowly opened his eyes only to be met with a sharp pain in his lower back. He quietly winced in response.
"Does Xiao not know what 'gentle' means!?" Aether quietly spoke.
He turned to his sleeping partner. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep.
Aether smiled. He kissed Xiao's forehead before getting up and heading to the bathroom to shower.

Xiao opened his eyes. He looked beside him only to see an empty spot. He sat up confused. He searched around the room. It was then he heard the shower water running. He sighed in relief. Xiao stretched his arms up and yawned. He was still a bit drowsy after what happened last night.

"Maybe I should've been more gentle with him"

Xiao decided to shrug it off for now and if Aether needed it, he would give him pain relievers.

After Aether had gotten out, he jumped onto the bed and laid on Xiao's chest.
"Next time, you have to listen to me!"
Xiao chuckled in response.
"Okay okay. I'll listen to you."
"Good!"
Aether pouted for a bit. But Xiao's sent would make him soon forget why he was pouting in the first place.

Authors note: Hello :)) I apologize for the late update. I know i said i would upload this *COUGH COUGH..* 5 DAYS ago but i kept forgetting so whoops. Anyway, this book(?) will be ending soon :')) I'm not sure when or what chapter it will end on but the end is near.
