After being completely disappointed by Davenport's birthday gift, the hexacopter, being broken, all Leo felt like doing was sitting back, waiting for the party his best friend had planned for him to start, and laying in bed as he waited with that very best friend who was trying so hard to put the idea of Chase and Rory in the back of her mind.
Rory had tried talking to her, about the fact that he had forgot she was locked down in the lab, but she ignored him. He figured she was just angry about the fact that he left her down the in the lab and even though that really did hurt her, he didn't know she was thinking about if he would have done the same if she was Chase.
"We should just move." Leo complained, throwing the blanket over his head. "Maybe they'll appreciate us in New York. Or LA."
"A big city?" Micaela questioned, head on the pillow, arms crossed. The door to Leo's bedroom creaked open, making the girl look up as Leo stayed under the blanket. "What do you want?" She glared between Rory and Chase who of course had been the only ones to come in.
"Mick, I'm sorry." Rory walked over to stand at her side of the bed, but she stood up on the bed, running over and jumping down on the other side.
"We have a surprise fo you guys." Chase smiled excitedly.
"Another one?" Micaela asked, but her words did nothing to stop the two boys from bringing her and Leo back into the lab.
"Let me guess." Leo spoke up once they stood down in the lab, looking to Adam, Bree, Chase, and Rory. "You're gonna lock me down here and go on vacation."
"Leo, it's time for your birthday mission." Chase grinned at him, holding out a pair of the simulator goggles for him.
Rory held out a pair for Micaela, looking at her with a pleading look. Looking up, forcing a small smile, she grabbed the goggles her fingers grazing his hand for a few seconds before pulling away.
"But Mr. Davenport said we're not supposed to play with these." Leo's grin faltered for just a second. "But Mr. Davenport isn't here." He turned to Micaela who forced a smile for him. "All right! Let's go!"
The Dooley ran onto the simulator stage, putting the goggles over his eyes. Micaela walked after him, Rory staring at her as she stared right past him. Once she got the goggles over her eyes, the darkness from her eyes being covered was replaced by the view of a orange-yellowing looking room.
"This is what we hyped up so much?" Micaela looked around, sharing a look with Leo who felt the same disappointment.
"No offense, guys, but this is a seriously expensive let-down." Leo told the four that they couldn't see.
"Here, move, move." Rory squeezed past the three bionic teens to stand in front of the controls for the simulator. He looked to Micaela, the star necklace on her neck as he set the background of the simulator.
