The three kids were all huddled up beside each other, arms gripping onto one another's as they heard Adam yelled from above. "Sorry, buddies!"
Then Chase spoke up, yelling, "Guys, we have to run home real quick. Don't go anywhere."
"Thanks for telling us!" Rory screamed at him. "We were just about to go watch the minions!"
"Hey, no problem, buddy!" Adam called back down with a grin.
"Really?" Leo questioned him. "Where are we gonna go?"
"Don't come over here." Perry muttered.
Glaring at the woman for second, Leo's eyes moved to the hatch on the ceiling. "Hey! Hey, there's a hatch on the roof. Maybe we can climb out!"
"Great idea!" Perry agreed. "Lock your hands! I'll use 'em as a stepladder." She lifted her foot up, expecting him to have done what she suggested.
"Yeah, how about you lock your hands?" Leo asked.
Rory and Micaela gasped and watched with wide eyes as Leo left their huddle to step his foot up on Perry's locked hands. He attempted to climb up her back, but couldn't find his balance.
"Ow! Hey! That's not a handhold!" Perry yelled at him. "Climb faster!"
"I can't!" Leo yelled back. "It's like climbing a marshmallow mountain!" Giving up, Leo fell back, landing in Micaela and Rory's arms as Perry walked to the other side of the elevator, beginning to hit her nails.
Micaela and Rory let go of Leo, the Dooley leaning back in the corner, biting his nails as well as the other two kids began to try and climb. "Let's have the athletics do it." The girl pointed out as the Star boy locked his hands. She stepped up, putting her foot in his hands.
"You're a nail-biter?" Perry looked to the Dooley, shocked they had something in common.
"Well, yeah, sometimes when I get nervous." Leo replied.
"Got it?" Rory asked, getting a yeah in reply before he lifted her up more and she opened the hatch.
With a grunt, Micaela grabbed the sides of the hatch, pulling herself up to see the inside of the elevator, the cables. "Oh my god!" She screamed and fell back down into the elevator. She crawled back into the corner, feeling like the walls were closing in on her.
"Just so you know, if it comes down to you or me, I've got some bad news for ya." Perry looked around the three kids who looked up to her, not shocked by the information.
