Laelyn POV:
As I'm sitting in the living room weaving a new blanket Tuk runs up to me, " Laelyn Can you come outside and play with me!" she looks at me with wide eyes
"Tuk you see I'm busy" I hold up the blanket in front of her
"Pleaseeee Laelyn I really want to play with you" now she giving me her sad eyes which she knows are my weakness
"Ok tuk I'll play with you" I said in a defeated tone I can't ever so no to tuk
"Yayyy let's go!" She said excitedly.
As we walked out of our pod towards the water I saw Anoung with his sitting sister talking, when I saw him I wanted to disappear immediately.
Right now Me and him have an interesting friendship, were a little flirtatious at times but nothing has been established between us so I don't know what to expect right now.
As my head spun with different thoughts and emotions, a voice pulled me out of them, the voice was Tsireya
" Laelyn come join us we're making necklaces" she said waving me and tuk over
"Can we go over and join them Laelyn?" tuk asked with a pleading look on her face
internally I didn't want to go because Anoung was there and he always made me nervous but I decided to go anyway to make my baby sister happy "of course, we can go tuk" as soon as the words left my lips tuk eagerly ran over to join the metkayina siblings
"I'm glad you could join us" Tsireya said with a smile
"Of course, I needed to make a new necklace anyway and you know tuk loves doing activities with you guys" I told her returning a smile
Tsireya shook her head in agreement.
For about 15 minutes all of us talked about random things from swimming to hunting, & dancing.
After a while, we noticed that we were running low on supplies
"Laelyn can you go get some more shells for us please while I get more feathers?" Tsireya asked me
"of course, I can" I replied to her
Then I turned my head to my baby sister "Tuk you can go with Tsireya because I know you love picking feathers"
"Ok!" tuk said with a large grin on her face running after Tsireya to her pod.
I started walking toward the shore to find more shells and then I felt someone tap my shoulder, I turned around with my face full of curiosity and then I met their aqua blue eyes and realized it was Aonung and I suddenly became nervous.
"Hey Laelyn do you need help?" he said with a smile
"Yes I could use some help" he nodded and then both of us started moving around hands around in the water collecting beautiful seashells to finish our necklaces.
As we kept looking around our hands somehow intertwined with each other and both of us looked at each other and we started to blush
