Time of Day: Afternoon
It's been a couple of days since Laelyn brought the Tulkun back to Awa'atlu. The Tulkun have been living in perfect harmony with the Metkayina.
As Laelyn walked through the village, passing multiple mauri's that were filled with families she heard someone call her name, "Laelyn!"
Her ears perked up and she turned around to see who summoned her. She meet the gaze of Ronal and Tonowari who was standing in front of their mauri.
"Hi! Ronal and Tonowari" Laelyn did the 'Oel ngati kameie' out of respect and the couple returned the same gesture
"Come inside" Tonowari said as he gestured to his mauri
Laelyn nodded her head and began following the couple inside their home. As she walked inside she saw Aonung and Tsireya sitting down next to each other. She smiled and waved at both of them while secretly blowing Aonung a kiss.
"We have asked you here because we wanted to express our gratitude for saving our Tulkun brothers and sisters" Tonowari said before Ronal chimed in
"Because you saved them we wanted to throw a celebration in honor of you"
Laelyn was flabbergasted by this news. As she heard the words fall from the couple's mouths she was shocked, "Really?!"
"Yes, this is a way of showing you we appreciate you in our clan. You helped protect us during the war and you saved the Tulkun, this is the least we can do to express our gratitude" Tonowari told you with a smile
"The celebration will be held tomorrow evening" Ronal said
"Thank you both! I truly appreciate this!"
Laelyn turned to Aonung and Tsireya with an excited expression on her face, both of the siblings were happy for Laelyn, especially Aonung.
Laelyn and Aonung exchanged loving looks which Ronal caught. With her being Tsahìk she could sense almost any emotional and spiritual connection. As Ronal was about to say something about it Tsireya jumped up from where she was sitting and went over to Laelyn, "We need to go Safia's mauri so we can find you a ceremonial outfit to wear" she told Laelyn with an excited smile on her face
"Okay let's go"
Without saying another word Tsireya grabbed Laelyn's hand and pulled her out of the mauri, as Tsireya was dragging her out Laelyn hurried and waved bye to Ronal, Tonowari, and Aonung while they just chuckled at Tsireya's actions.

Time of Day: Night
Aonung and Laelyn were walking together holding hands in the jungle, "I can't believe they are throwing a whole celebration just for me!" She said feeling astonished about the whole situation
"Well, I do! What you did for the clan was amazing. If it wasn't for you our spirit brothers and sisters could have died. You saved them and the village from great sorrow. To express our gratitude the best way possible is to celebrate you!" Aonung told her as he picked her up and spun her into a circle with a huge grin on his face.
Laelyn began to erupt with laughter, "Aonung! Put me down!" She told him as she hit his back lightly. Aonung put her down and they continued walking through the jungle.
"So are you going to accompany me at the celebration tomorrow?" Laelyn asked him with a smile even though she knew his answer
"Of course I am. I don't want any of the other village boys to get any ideas" Aonung said in a playful tone which made Laelyn chuckle
"Yeah, we definitely don't want that" She told him as she wrapped her arms around his biceps and leaned her head on his shoulder.
Laelyn was starting to get tired and Aonung could tell, "Do you want to sleep in the jungle tonight? We can stay in the old mauri" Aonung suggested
"What about tomorrow? Everyone is going to expect me to be up bright and early to prepare for the celebration. And you're the Olo'eyktan's son, they are going to expect you to be up doing your clan duties" Laelyn told him as she thought about how people would react if they realized both of them were missing through the night and the next morning
"It will be fine, I will make sure to wake up extra early so we can sneak back to the village without anyone seeing us" Aonung told her confidently
"Okay fine!" Laelyn said giving in. She knew Aonung was going to keep asking her until she agreed and she didn't mind sleeping with him.
Both of them went inside the mauri and snuggled up together on the woven mat underneath them, "Goodnight Lyn" he told her as he kissed her temple
"Night Nung" she replied as she wrapped her arm around his torso and nuzzled her head into his chest.
After a few minutes, the couple's snores filled the Mauri as the sound of nature buzzed around them.
