Omniscient POV:

Time of Day: Afternoon

Today is the day of the Celebration of the discovery of Awa'atlu. A group of villagers are putting up embellishments around the event hall while the women were setting up all the food arrangements. Some men are outside smoking and grilling fish, while others were making homemade alcoholic beverages for the adults (or sneaky teenagers) to imbibe.

The Olo'eyktan and Tsahìk were at home practicing their speeches for the celebration, while Tsireya prepared different activities for the children to do to keep them entertained.

Aonung was doing the same thing he does every day, thinking about Laelyn.

He couldn't wait to see her tonight at the party, he wanted her to see his new outfit and he couldn't wait to see how stunning she'll look in hers.

As he began walking to the shore he saw Kiri playing with Tuk in the sand. Tuk noticed him and began waving him down, "Aonung!" She exclaimed

Tuk and Aonung have grown a little sister-big-brother relationship since the Sully Family came to Awa'atlu. They do things together like making sand castles and playing with her dolls while having tea parties.

"Hey, Princess Tuk!" Aonung ran up to her and began tickling her which caused Tuk to erupt in laughter

"Aonung! Aonung! Stop" Tuk said in between laughs, trying to catch her breath

Aonung began to laugh at Tuk's reaction and stopped tickling her. He looked over to Kiri and saw her chuckling and then he noticed Laelyn was nowhere in sight.

"Where's Lyn?" Aonung asked Kiri

"She's at home sleeping so she'll have energy for the party tonight"

The sun is now starting to set on Awa'atlu which indicates to the people that the party is going to be starting soon

"Okay, well I'm going to start making my way back home so I can start getting ready for the party" Aonung told the two girls while standing up

"We need to be making our way home too, Come on Tuk!" Kiri yelled trying to get Tuk's attention since she ran off into the water

"See you at the party" he told Kiri before beginning his walk back home

Laelyn POV:

I was peacefully sleeping in my room trying to recharge so I'll have energy for the party until someone came barging into my room.

"Alessia I need some help picking an outfit for tonight" Lo'ak told me while holding multiple loincloths and accessories in his hand

Lo'ak is the only person who calls me by my middle name. I don't mind though because I've always liked my middle name since there's a meaning behind it.

"Lo'ak you can't just be barging into my room! What if a was unclothed or something?!"

He just completely ignored what I said and continued asking me about his clothes which made me roll my eyes
