Omniscient POV:
Location: Safia's Mauri
Right now, the group of girls is at Safia's mauri trying to figure out what they should do today, "what about we go to the jungle?" Kiri suggested
Everyone just shook their head no, "Ok um what about we go down to the beach?" Safia suggested
Everyone shook their heads no again, "What if we go to the spirit tree?" Tsireya asked the group. She knew that they haven't been there in a while so it'll be a good thing to do together
"I think it's a good idea because I have been wanting to go" Laelyn told them, she usually goes to visit her passed family members like Tsu'tey, Sylwanin, or Eytukan but she hasn't been there in a while.
Safia and Kiri agreed so they decided to go to the spirit tree.
"When should we go?" Safia asked
"After dinner, it'll be better to go then so we can see it glow underwater" Tsireya told them
Everyone agreed with what Tsireya said so they continued to talk to each other about other topics.
As they continued to talk, Tawal walked into the mauri. "Hey Ladies" Tawal said while looking specifically at Laelyn
Everyone said hello and went back to their conversation, as they were talking Tawal was staring at Laelyn looking up and down her whole body.
He was so glad he came to his cousin's mauri so he could see Laelyn. As he heard them talking about going to the spirit tree he chimed in, "When are y'all going to the spirit tree?"
"After dinner, why?" Kiri asked him in an annoyed tone. Kiri didn't like Tawal because his presence always felt cold and evil to her.
"I was wondering if I could tag along" he asked with a smile, he wanted to spend time with Laelyn and that meant hanging out with the group
The girls looked at each other trying to read each other facial's expressions to see if it was okay. Everyone just shrugged their shoulders in response, they didn't mind if he came along.
"You can come I guess" Kiri mumbled
"Great I'll meet you all at the pier" Tawal told them while walking out of the hut with a smile on his face while piercing his eyes into Laelyn's. Him looking into her eyes made Laelyn uncomfortable so she averted her gaze.
Laelyn brushed it off not thinking too much of it and continued talking to the girls

Time of Day: Evening (Dinner time)
The group was together in the communal dining hall eating, while they ate they talked about going to the spirit tree.
All of the boys agreed since they haven't been in a while just like the girls.
"Tawal is coming with us to the spirit tree. He is going to meet us at the pier" Safia told them
The boys didn't care about him tagging along because he was Safia's cousin and they didn't see him as a threat.
"Okay" Rotxo said as he continued eating
