I Want You - Aonung

Chapter 3

Time: Middle of the Afternoon

Laelyn POV:

I finished eating breakfast and decided to go and make sure all my siblings were okay since Dad always tells me and Neteyam that we are to protect our younger siblings since were the oldest.

As I scanned the village I saw Kiri sitting on the shore laying flat on the ground with her legs dangling in the air and hands on her face just above the water looking at the sand

my sister has always loved nature she can communicate with animals and can control plants.

It has always seemed like she's one with Eywa. I feel like she is closer to Eywa than a Tsahìk.

I walked up to her and tapped her shoulder and then she looked up at me with a smile "Hey sister"

"Hey Kiri, I just wanted to make sure you're okay"

"Yes, I'm fine I'm just admiring the sand watching how it moves within the water" she said with a gleam in her eyes

"Ok, Sister I'll leave you to it have fun"

"Bye Laelyn!"

I walked around the village some more to see where Lo'ak, Tuk, and Neteyam are.

I looked out to the water and saw Lo'ak and Neteyam arguing and I just shook my head and started walking up to them

"Hey, what are you guys arguing about!" I shout putting distance between them

both of them start talking at the same time and I can't understand what either of them are saying

"One at a time" I told them

"I was getting on my ilu and Lo'ak pulled my leg and made me fall in the water and almost drown" Neteyam said with an angry tone

" I only did it because you hit me with your stupid tail and splashed me with water" Lo'ak spat at Neteyam

Both of them started yelling even more "BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP" I yelled at them and they immediately were quiet

"Both of you are being skxawngs, y'all both provoked each other and both of y'all shouldn't have done anything to one another" I said in a stern voice

"Just kiss and makeup already" I told them waving my hands in annoyance

Both of them mumbled apologies to each other and went on their ilu ride together

"Ughhh I always have to break up their arguments" I said to myself shaking my head

I decided to walk back to my pod because I started to get hungry, as I was walking I saw Aonung with his hunting group coming back from their second hunt of the day.

He emerged from the water with it glistening on his skin and his black curly hair sticking to his skin. He was holding a net full of fish which helped bring out muscles.

I watched in awe my eyes were wide open and my face was turning purple from my blushing, I'm glad he couldn't see because I know I look stupid right now and I would be so embarrassed

After a few seconds, I shake my head to snap myself out of my gaze on Aonung and continued walking.

I couldn't get Aonung out of my head, I wish I could but I couldn't

it's like my brain has him on repeat

I would talk to someone about it but I don't want to say anything to anyone because if he doesn't like me back I'll be so embarrassed.

When I got home my mom started making lunch, "Lyn can you go out and gather some fruits for us to eat"

"Yes I'll be back soon" I said while grabbing a basket to put the fruit in walking outside to make my way to the jungle part of the island
