Haze's POV
Blaze, Luke, and I are about to enter the tunnels. It didn't take much to get through his guards and security. "You would have thought his system would be better than this with how much it costs him," Blaze said with a smile. "Well, I'm sure they didn't plan on anyone having a computer genius with them," Luke replied. "He also doesn't think we will be here today. He is probably preparing to attack us again, "I state. "What makes you think that?" Luke asks. "Because he knows we will stop at nothing to find her, so he wants us distracted and probably wants to kill me so he can have her," I reply. "Well damn, he fucked up, didn't he," Blaze said with a slight chuckle. "He fucked up the day he planned to take Sky," I replied.

I can feel Skylar is close. I send her an image of the house. We head into the tunnels with 10 of our men. Cole, Danny, and Tyson have 50 of our men scattered around the house. "This way," Blaze says as he starts walking. I'm so glad he has a map because it's a giant cluster fuck down here. We would definitely have gotten lost. We follow Blaze without saying a word. As we are walking through this tunnel, I get an image of Reid standing and smiling that smug smile of his. "I'm here, baby. I'm coming for you. " I link Skylar. "I know. I love you. Try not to link me. I don't want him to catch on. I love you, " she links me back. My heart stops beating after hearing her voice. God, it's been 9 hours since I've seen her, and she was taken, and it's 9 hours too many. "I love you too," I reply, and then I cut the link.

"She knows we are here. She said not to link her. She doesn't want him to catch on. " I notify everyone so no one tries to link her. We finally reach a wooden door. Blaze picks the lock and pushes the door open. This kid is amazing. He will be a great beta. He will make Kail proud. I'm sure he already is. We walk into a wine cellar. Blaze pulls out a map and sets it on the ground. "This is where we are," he says as he points at our location. "This is where Skylar is," he says as he points to the dining room. "We are going to be coming out here," he points to a door in the kitchen. "Did you bring the scent blocker, Luke?" Blaze asks. "I did," he replies. We spray ourselves so no one will be able to smell us coming.

Blaze slowly opens the kitchen door and looks around. Then he closes the door. "There is no one in there," he links me. "Is everyone in place?" I link Cole, Tyson, and Danny. "We are," they link back. "It's time," I link them. "Ok," the three of them replied. "Go," I tell Blaze. Blaze opens the door, and we all sneak into the kitchen. I look through a window in the door and see Skylar and Reid sitting at a table. He is touching her face. Dante growls in my head. Suddenly, an alarm goes off, and that's our queue.

We bust into the dining room surrounding Reid. He jumps up with anger in his eyes. "How?" he growls. "That's our secret," I reply, then lung for him. I hear fighting, but I have my own fight to take care of. I grab Reid and punch him in the face. When I go to punch him again, he blocks it and then punches me in the ribs. I stumble back, and he punches me in the face. When he tries to punch me in the face again, I block it and punch him in the stomach, then punch him in the kidney. When he leans forward from the kidney shot, I grab the back of his head and ram his face into my knee. He stumbles back, then stands up and spits blood out of his mouth. He smiles at me with blood dripping from his mouth. "You know I'm the one that killed Kail. It's a shame really; he was a good guy, " he says with a smile. I'm going to kill him if it's the last thing I do. I go to grab him and notice his nails have changed to claws. He goes to slash my neck. I lean back just in time for him to miss my neck, but he got my chest, causing me to growl in frustration and anger.

He tries to claw me again, but I catch his wrist and snap it. He growls and then kicks my knee out from under me, causing me to fall to my other knee. He then grabs my head and jumps up, kicking me in the face. After he kicks me in the face, I fall to the floor. He jumps on top of me and tries to slash my face with his left hand since his right one is broken. I catch his hand and use all my weight to flip us over. I put my knee on his wrist and punch him in the face. I rain punches down on his face, one right after the other. He is a bloody mess. He looks at me and smiles. "Do you want to know Kail's last words?" he spits out. He is trying to get inside my head. "I know what his last words were since he said them to me," I growl before I snap his neck.

When I stand back up from his dead body, my men have bodies lying all around. "Haze, they have surrendered," Danny links me. "Ok. Round them all up and load them into the bus, "I reply. We brought a bus, knowing his men would surrender as soon as their alpha was dead. "Yes, Alpha," he replies with a laugh. That fucker. He knows how much I hate when they call me alpha.

I run over to Skylar and kiss her face. She doesn't move at all. "Baby, what did he do to you?" I ask. "He gave me a shot that paralyzed me for 12 hours," she links me back. "Oh baby, I'm so sorry. Did he hurt you or touch you?" I ask. "No, he didn't. He did tell me what happened at training, " she linked back. Of course, he did. God, I hope she doesn't hate me. I lower my head, ashamed of myself. "Baby, it's ok. I'm sorry for what happened, but you were 15, you were so young. I'm not mad at you. Was it wrong? Yes it was, but you were just a kid? Yes, you used to be an asshole; we both agree on that, but you also know as well as I do that you are not that person anymore. Baby, you have changed, " she linked back. "I love you," I whispered because I was afraid my voice would crack from me, holding back my sobs.

I just want to cry because she doesn't hate me. Since she knows what happened, I can tell her everything. "Baby, you're bleeding." she links me with worry. "I'll be ok. Come on, we are going home," I reply. I pick her up and carry her out of the house. "What's wrong with her?" Luke asks as he runs up to me. "He injected her with something that paralyzed her for 12 hours," I replied. "Did he hurt her?" Luke asks. "No, he didn't," I reply. Luke starts laughing. I look at him. "Sorry, sis," he laughs. "What?" I ask with a smile. "She linked me. She said I can link fucker, so ask me, asshole" he says with a laugh. I laugh. "That's my girl," I say as I kiss her head.

"Haze, do me a favor." Luna links me. "What's that?" Luna. "Kiss our lips, please. That mother fucker kissed us, and I want that fuckers kiss erased," she growls. "He kissed our mate?" Dante growls. "Chill, Dante, he is dead." I lean forward and kiss her lips. "I love you," I link Luna. "I love you too," she links me back. "Please take me home. This shit should be wearing off soon," Skylar links me. "Ok baby, let's go home." I link her before I kiss her lips again.
