Kail's POV
I left my room pissed. I understand she is upset, but to be mad at me like I intentionally didn't tell her. I just forgot about it. After kissing her, everything about Amber slowly went away. I never even thought about her, and for Skylar to act like I'm hiding shit from her pisses me off.

How can she not trust me? I've never given her any reason not to trust me. I've never been so happy as I have been since being with her. How can she not see that? I love her so much more than I thought I could love anyone. Does she not feel the same? Is that why she won't let me mark her?

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice Amber walking my way. She walks right up to me and grabs my arm. She then pulls me into a guest room. "What are you doing?" I ask her. "We need to talk," she replies. "About what?" I ask. "About our baby. He is yours. He looks just like you, " she says as she pulls out her phone and shows me a picture.

He does look just like me. Fuck. "Look, Amber, I'm on my way to get a DNA test. Then we will figure something out when the results come back, " I said as I handed her phone back. "Kail, I want my son to have a family," she says as she runs her hand down my chest. I push her hand away. "You rejected me. Remember, " I growl. "It was the biggest mistake of my life," she says as she grabs my dick, making it get hard. "I think you miss me just as much as I miss you," she says as she pulls my pants down and drops to her knees. "I have missed you." I reply, "But I'm with Skylar now." I moan as she wraps her mouth around my dick.

"Fuck, that feels so good," I moan. She takes all of me into her mouth. I grab the back of her head and start fucking her face. "Fuck suck that dick bitch" I moan. God, I need more. I grab her and pull her up; I pull her dress up over her head and rip her panties off. I throw her on the bed and make her get on all fours. I get behind her and ram my dick in her as hard as I can. "Are you fucking kidding me right now." Oh fuck I jump away from Amber to see Skylar standing there. She is pissed, but I also see the hurt and pain in her eyes. What the fuck have I done. "Skylar shit, I can," I start to say, and she cuts me off. "Don't bother with your excuses. We are so done. Done forever.  To think I was coming to apologize to you. Now I can tell my mom to cancel the marking ceremony. I want absolutely nothing to do with you from here on out, " she growls. "You can smirk all you want. Your nothing but a filthy whore who doesn't even know who the father of her baby is," Skylar yelled at Amber. "Shows how much you know Kail is his father," Amber smirked. "Congratulations, I hope you guys can be a happy family," Skylar said, then took off out of the room.

I ran out after her, pulling my pants up and trying to button them. I didn't even notice Amber behind me. When I ran out of the room, I saw Skylar in Haze's arms. Haze looks up. "Are you fucking serious right now" he growls. "Fuck off, Haze, this isn't any of your business," I growl. Skylar takes off out of the front door. I go running after her, but Haze stops me. He grabs me and shoves me into a wall. "What the fuck is wrong with you" he growls. "Why does it fucking matter to you" I growl back. "It matters because she's my mate," he replied. "Was your mate. You threw her away like yesterday's trash. You have no room to judge, " I growl. "Your right. I fucked up. I didn't give her or us a chance. I broke our bond before it could even start but you, you piece of shit. You broke her heart after making her fall in love with you. Your worst than I could ever have thought about being," he says as he looks me in the eyes.

He is right. Everything he said is right. How could I do this to her. "Let me go, Haze; I have to go to her," I growl. "No, you will not go to her, and that's an order. You will give her time to be alone, " he growls. I have no choice but to obey his order. He lets me go and then walks outside. "Baby, it's ok. She was just in our way. We can be a happy family now, " Amber says as she wraps her arms around my waist. I grab her arms and push her to the floor. "There is no us or a family. If the kid is mine, I'll do my job as a father. But you and I will never happen. All you have ever done is ruin my life. I want nothing to do with you,"  I growl. "That's not what you were saying when you were fucking the shit out of my mouth or my pussy 5 minutes ago," she growls. "I made a mistake. One I will pay for for the rest of my life, " I say as I turn and walk to my room.

I walk in, and I smell her everywhere. How did this happen? I lay on my bed, grabbed her pillow, and hugged it. She will never forgive me. I just lost the best thing in my life. I don't even know what happened. It's like my mind just hitched a ride right out of my head, and my dick took over. What am I going to do? She wanted me to mark her. I had no idea her mom was even planning the ceremony. Oh God, what have I done?

I wait around for 2 hours. I haven't seen or heard from her or Haze. No one has seen either of them. I'm starting to panic. I have all kinds of shit running through my head. What if she is hurt? What if she ran away? What if she is fucking Haze right now, that thought is driving me crazy. I have to find her. I have to make this right somehow. She isn't one to forgive so easily, if at all. I have to find a way to get her to see how sorry I am and how much I love her.

I'm currently walking through the forest, following what's left of their scent. The scent is weak; it's been a while since they came this way. I follow their sent to the falls. I could smell where she was sitting, and then I smelled him next to her. I growl when I see blood droplets on the grass. I smell them, one is from Haze, and the other is from Skylar. Something has happened to Haze and Skylar. "I'm at the falls; send everyone," I link Alpha Theo.

Less than 4 minutes later, Tyson yells he has picked up the scent of rogues. We follow the scent and discover blood droplets along the way. When we get to the border, their scents disappear. I'm searching around the area when I find a small note hanging from a tree.

The alpha will be returned in due time, but the girl won't.

What the fuck does that mean. She has to come back. I have to find her. I can't lose her, not like this. Goddess, please don't let anything happen to her. Help me find her. "Meeting room now," Alpha Theo growled through the pack link. "What happened?" Alpha Theo asked me. "What do you mean," I ask, confused; he knows just as much as I know. "Why was Skylar out here with Haze?" he asked. "Oh, I fucked up," I said as I looked at the grass, too embarrassed to look at him. "You will explain when we get to the meeting room," he replied and headed towards the pack house.
