꧁•⊹٭𝙺𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚢 𝙲𝚘𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝙿𝚕𝚊𝚗٭⊹•꧂

It seemed logical to Shinsou that if he used some of Piyo's treats that he stuffed in his bag, Yuuei would stay long enough for him to bring her to his house and show his parents that they should get another cat. They were stubborn, but he knew that as soon as they saw Yuuei they would agree with him. After all, his parents were just as cat crazy as him.

"Shooting Star Attack!!" Y/n shouted, jumping to Shinsou's side and gently poking his shoulder. "Pow!"

So consumed by his scheming, Shinsou had completely forgotten about the girl. To his embarrassment, he flinched when she accosted him.

"Wow! I really got you this morning," she said, flashing her thinly pointed teeth through her smug grin. "What were you thinking about that has you so distracted? Was it me?"

"No."

"So quick to answer!" Y/n laughed. "It must be serious then."

"It's none of your concern," Shinsou said, grabbing onto the strap of his bag.

Sniffling a little, Y/n continued smiling. "Would it be so bad to tell me?"

"Yes."

"So quick... If it's a secret, I won't tell anyone else!" she pleaded, clasping her hands. "I'm super good at keeping secrets because I have no one to tell them to!"

Choosing to brush over how pathetic that sounded, Shinsou sighed and rolled his eyes. "It's not a secret. I just don't have to tell you."

"That's okay. I can just tell you what I've been thinking about," she said, leaning closer to him. She stayed far enough that they didn't touch, but Shinsou could still smell her body spray from their proximity. "I was just thinking about how cute you look today!"

"Don't say things like that," he said, his expression still stern.

"Okay, you got me! That was kind of a lie," she said, her smile faltering for a second. "I just wanted to tell you I won't be able to walk home with you today because I got after-school detention. But I do think you're cute!"

"Detention?" he repeated, raising a brow. She didn't strike him as a delinquent with her cheesy personality.

Rubbing her shoulder, Y/n nervously chuckled. "Yeah, I got in a lot of trouble yesterday because I skipped some classes."

That only confused him more. "Whatever," he said. "That's what happens when you skip."

"I know... but it was totally worth it," she said. "Just don't miss me too much. I'll see you again tomorrow!"

Shinsou withheld his harsh words as she turned down her path to Urusai. It was better for him, anyway, that she wouldn't be there to bother him as he brought Yuuei home.

However, Yuuei was no where on campus that day.
