Stepping into class that day, Y/n was quick to notice a small grin on the face of the boy that always bothered her. She averted her eyes, already imagining what he might say. He hasn't gotten creative over the past few months, but he is relentless in his humiliation.

"Oh, hey Whiskers," he casually said, loud enough for the whole class to hear. He rested his head onto one of his hands. "What happened yesterday? You missed the rest of our lessons."

"Yes, that's rather strange," she said. Her cheeks burned from the memory of her embarrassing reaction. Sitting at her desk in front of him, she tried her best to ignore his comments.

"Since you missed a lot yesterday, I'm willing to share some of my notes. Of course, it would come with a price."

Attempting to keep her eyes on her desk, Y/n idly rearranged some papers. She kept her back straight and her shoulders squared.

"Well... Maybe I owe you one. After all, you gave us a free show-"

In one swift movement, Y/n was out if her seat. She slammed her fists against the boy's desk, her face a noticable red. "What the fuck is your problem, Haidou?"

Showing his palms, Haidou continued with a lazy smile. "Aw, dont take it too seriously Whiskers," he cooed.

"Don't you get bored of saying all this bullshit," Y/n growled, her sharp teeth grinding together.

"How could I get tired of my favorite plaything?" he asked. His eyes narrowed at her. "Have I been too boring? Should I do more?"

"Why do you even bother with me? Aren't you too old for pranks?"

He grabbed her wrists and shoved her arms off his desk. "Don't think you're tough now that you got detention."

Y/n forced a slow breath through her teeth.

Their homeroom teacher opened the door and Y/n returned to her seat. As the teacher started the lesson, Haidou continuously shook Y/n's seat with his foot and prodded her back. She ignored him, only wanting to finish the day as soon as possible. She also couldn't risk getting in more trouble.

If she could make time pass by faster, she could see Shinsou sooner. They could walk their usual morning path as she held the conversation. He would be nonchalant as always, but it was preferred over the harsher attitude of Haidou. Besides, she knew Shinsou could be gentle and kind.

Leaning forward in her seat, Y/n sighed as she imagined a life where Shinsou willingly held her. As they walked to school, they could hold hands and talk about their dreams. From their interactions, it seems he is the type to get embarrassed by affection. That only makes him more appealing. If he was in a relationship, he may be surprisingly flirty or even more reserved. The idea alone was thrilling.

Maybe he would get flustered over switching to given names. Or he could be completely cool and outgoing with his affections. He may be touchy, or more verbal. Y/n wouldn't know yet, but she hoped to soon find out what boyfriend Shinsou would be like. He was already so amazing, but is it possible to be even more wonderful?

"Wake up, fleabag!" Haidou shouted, harshly kicking Y/n's desk.

She jolted up in her seat, a puff bursting from her head. Using her arms to cover her head, Y/n growled at Haidou. "What's your problem?" she whined, her eyes squinting from the bright lights.

"I'm just wondering how you graduated from elementary," he said, sticking out his tongue and scrunching his nose.

After another puff on her head, Y/n dropped her arms. "You act like you're still in elementary." She looked around the room. "Where is everyone?"
