Lo'ak POV-

Y/N passed out, I started panicking even more.

I didn't even care about dad yelling at me or me being grounded.

I needed to get help for Y/N.

I got off the ilu once I made it back to the island. I took Y/N in my arms and walked in the shore.

"Help! Momma! Dad!" I called desperately.

I saw my family get out of the hut, once they saw Y/N in my arms they all ran towards me.

"Ma Y/N!" Mom said as she grabbed Y/N's head and gently caressed it.

The Metkayina slowly made a group around us to see what was happening.

"Son, what the hell happened?!" Dad asked while lightly shaking me.

"We..got attacked while we were getting back here, she passed out please do something" I said in the verge of tears, still holding the limp body of my twin.

Dad took Y/N from my arms and carried her to our hut, we all quickly followed him.

Ao'nung POV-

I was in my hut talking with Rotxo. That until I saw my family enter our home and run around.

"Dad? Mom? What's going on?" I asked as I got up, everyone was getting mom's medical herbs and supplies.

"Y/N got attacked by an akula" Tsireya said quickly.

And my heart dropped.

Y/N? As in my Y/N? My soulmate?

I ran outside of my hut and made my way to the Sully's hut as fast as I could.

This needs to be some sick joke. Please.

I stopped in the entrance of the hut of the Sully's, I walked in and saw Y/N on the ground, her leg was purple by the injury and her body was bloody.

I tried to come closer, but Neteyam stuck his arm out and stopped me.

"Not in this moment, Ao'nung. She's very weak" Neteyam said.

I noticed the worry in his eyes but he tried to remain as calm as possible.

I looked around. Neytiri was sitting with Y/N, caressing her face and whispering to her that help was coming. Jake was pacing around and looking outside the hut, waiting for that help.

Kiri was holding back tears while she had Tuk in her arms. Tuk was crying and moving her arms to try and reach Y/N. Lo'ak was next to Neytiri, he was looking at Y/N, I saw despair in his eyes.

I noticed that Lo'ak had blood around his torso, he must've been with Y/N then.

I felt so stupid.

I sworn to myself to protect her.

And this happens.

She can't die, I don't want it to happen, not to her.

Please, she can't leave like this.

My thoughts got interrupted when I saw my family walk into the Sully hut with all my mother's supplies for healing.

Please Eywa, don't take her tonight.

Y/N POV-

Ah, I recognize this feeling.

I'm back at this place, the place between life and death.

Been there, done that.

Numbness is all I feel, I can't really begin to explain it.
