No one's POV-

Y/N was currently on her ilu, waiting for the group to arrive.

They were visiting the Spirit Tree today, Y/N didn't get the chance to do so before, so she was excited now.

She saw Neteyam, Kiri, Rotxo and Tsireya come close to her on their ilus.

Soon all of them were following Rotxo and Tsireya to the Spirit Tree, they said that the best time to visit was during eclipse.

They arrived to the Cove of Ancestors first, taking in the view.

And soon they all swam down to the Spirit Tree.

Y/N's eyes gleamed at the view. She always loved the bioluminescent scenery that the Spirit Tree back home offered. And this one was even more beautiful to her.

She grabbed her queue and gently connected it to the tree, closing her eyes.

When she opened her eyes again, she was back in the village. She looked around for a moment, she was in the beach.

She then felt a pair of hands snake around her waist, she gasped lightly and looked back.

She saw Ao'nung smiling to her.

"Hey there beautiful, what are you doing out here so late? You trying to escape from me? " He said while caressing the sides of the girl.

"Why would I escape from you?" Y/N asked softly, feeling too nervous by his touch.

"Doesn't matter sweetheart. You know wherever you go I won't be too far from you" Ao'nung said softly, turning the girl around.

Y/N took in his features, he looked taller and even had a tattoo on his right arm. He looked more mature.

"What do you mean?" Y/N asked, looking at him with doe eyes.

"You know what I mean, Eywa brought us together darling" Ao'nung said while leaning in closer, stopping just a few inches away from her face.

"I love you, I'll make sure everyone knows you're mine and I'm yours, my dear soulmate" Ao'nung said before going in for a kiss.

And then, Y/N's vision got blurry and she felt as if she got pulled back.

She opened her eyes for a moment and just for 3 seconds, she saw fire, blood and ships.

"Y/N!!"

She heard at the distance, she looked back but her vision got blurry again.

She opened her eyes once again and this time, she saw the spirit tree.

She disconnected her queue from the tree and looked around to see her siblings and friends swim back up.

She followed them back to the surface.

As she mounted her Ilu, she couldn't stop thinking about all the things she saw.

Ao'nung was treating her like a mate? Why?

And his words.. he said soulmate.

Y/N knew she had to look more into this.

But she couldn't deny the fact that her heart skipped a beat when she got that treatment from Ao'nung. So gentle and sweet.

Whatever those.. visions meant, she was going to look for the meaning and find out what the hell is Eywa trying to tell her.

Y/N was sitting in her hut, playing with some beads.

Her mind was in a whole another universe.

Trying to connect the information she received yesterday.
