Joel held Immy tightly as she sobbed in his arms.    He could see Seb watching them carefully from over by the front door.    Reluctantly, he released her.  Placing his hands on her forearms he stooped down so he could look her in the eye.

"Come on Immy, you'll be setting me off in a minute. It's not that far. You can visit, I can visit you. I have a godson that I need to spoil. We can FaceTime every day."

"I know, I'm just going to miss you so much. You're my best friend Joel."

He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her again. "And I always will be Immy, you know that."

Seb chewed on his bottom lip as he watched the woman he loved in another man's arms. Despite what Immy said he was convinced that Joel still had feelings for her. He'd seen the way the younger man looked at her when he thought no one was looking.

He pushed the sleeve of his hoodie up and glanced at his watch. "Immy, I don't want to rush you but we have to get a move on."

The car was already loaded with the last of their luggage. Most of Immy and Noah's things had already been shipped to Switzerland. They just had a few cases of clothes. Someone Joel worked with was buying the crib and the pushchair, Seb had ordered new ones to be delivered back home. His parents had been to get the flat ready for their arrival. They'd put the crib up and bought other things that they'd need for Noah.

Immy pulled out of Joel's arms and wiped her eyes on the sleeve of her coat. "Ok, I guess this is it."

"Of course it isn't. It's just the start of a new chapter. Let me know when you land." He looked over at Seb and held his hand out. Seb shook it. "Look after them," Joel said. What does he think I'll
bloody do? Seb thought to himself.

"Of course. Thanks for all you did for them Joel. Don't worry about them, they're my family. They'll want for nothing." Seb grabbed hold of the handle of Noah's car seat and lifted it off of the floor. Immy picked up his changing bag.

Joel opened the door and held it open for them to go outside. Seb unlocked the car and began to get Noah secured in the back. Immy got into the passenger seat.
Once he was satisfied that the seat was fixed in properly, Seb climbed into the driver seat. He put his seatbelt on and put the key into the ignition. He looked at Immy. "Ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," she replied. Seb started the car and they pulled away from the kerb.

Immy almost started crying again as she saw Joel stood by the front door waving goodbye. She still had mixed feelings about moving. She was mostly excited about starting a new life, and about their search for their forever home, but part of her was sad to be leaving Joel behind. She'd only just found him after so many years, and now she was losing him again.

"Don't worry," Seb said. "You'll soon settle. I know my flat isn't much but hopefully we'll soon find somewhere. And the important thing is that we have each other yes?"

"Of course. I'm just going to miss Joel."

She heard Seb sigh. "Look Immy, I think this is a good thing for him too."

"And why's that?" Surely Seb didn't still think Joel was in love with her?

"He needs to concentrate on his relationship with Hannah. He was focussing too much on you."

"You don't still think he's got feelings for me?"

"He does," Seb stated. "He's always staring at you when he thinks no one's looking. He spoils Noah, I mean really spoils him. I don't know why but I just get this feeling he wishes Noah was his."
