* I know it has been a really long time, but I have graduated college, got engaged, and moved into a house with my fiancé! I want to finish this book out strong and just say thank you to everyone who did read the series and how thankful I am that I got to do this!*
5 YEARS LATER
We were out late last night. Celebrating something that I never knew was possible, Peter proposed in front of everyone in Storybrooke. I never knew he would become such a romantic.
I slowly start to open my eyes and see him still sound asleep. His beautiful brown hair that barely draped over his his forehead. He grew a small beard, barely there but just enough to cover his chin and some sides of his face.
He started opening his eyes as he looks down to me and smiles gently. "Hello beautiful", he says with a morning voice.
I smile back at him and kiss his cheek.
"I love you so much," I whisper. I lay my head on his chest and cuddle up near him.
After coming back to Storybrooke, I finished high school, while Pan got his GED. I ended up going to the University of Maine and Peter followed.
I studied and majored in Literature, while he got his degree in teaching.
He wanted to teach high school, but he quickly became interested in being a professor. He accomplished that and now teaches at our Alma Mater. His focus: Art History. Surprising, I know, but he started becoming obsessed about art.
As for Felix, he found his calling through teaching Boy Scouts how to survive in the wilderness. He travels across the country to different troops and spends a week in the woods with them. Of course, he teaches them silly skills like hitting things with a wooden sword.
Regina found love after we returned and they married. She ended up happy and has retired from being mayor.
Henry has become a detective for a police department in Boston. He married this past year and his wife is expecting.
Emma became mayor of Storybrooke. Unfortunately, her love for Hook was never rekindled with someone else, but she continues to run the town and show everyone she's the savior.
While in my thoughts, Peter holds me closer and kisses my forehead.
"Are you excited to marry me?"
I nod my head and smile. "Took you long enough."
He laughs and holds me tighter.
After leaving Storybrooke, Pan changed his name to something basic so people don't ask him questions.
As for me, you might be wondering, I write children's books.
