•ACE'S POV•

I wake up from my nap by a ruffling noise. The bushes move and the silence becomes broken. "Who's there," I ask towards nothing.

"Ace what's wrong," Jake hops up. "I heard someone in the bush over there," I point towards a small green-leafed bush just north of me. "I hadn't heard anything," he says.

I walk towards the shrubbery and try to find the one making the disturbance. I see someone running to the shore.

"Wait," I yell after the person. I run and run towards them wondering who it is and who it could be. I finally reach them and touch their shoulder to look at me.

The lady looks at me with her eyes wide. "Who are you," I ask. "Ariel," she responds calmly. "Why were you running," I try to get more answers out of her.

"I'm not supposed to talk to you," she says. "Why," I question. "I was told to keep an eye on you by Pan," she looks all sad.

"He still cares about me," I grab her arm is interest. The topic about Pan sparked my fire in my heart.

"Ow," she motions me to look at her arm. I burned her skin. "I'm sorry. It's hard to control some time," I calm my hand and let go. "It's fine. He still does just scared of his shadow," she informs me.

Pan still loves me.

•ALANS POV•

I had to talk to her somehow. I loved her more than Pan. She needed me not him. I was the one that could protect her, because all he could do was hurt her.

My concentration is broken by Valon, a girl who was friends with Vydia years off. She had known my stepbrother Jake. "Alan. She is being watched by Ariel. That mermaid Pan helped out," she tells me. He was smart to look out for her.

The redheaded mermaid was one of many skills. Spying, swimming, talking, and doing hair. She was easy to make friends of. Well acquainted with many people on neverland.

"Thanks Valon. Is she looking for any other people," I ask to retrieve information. "I don't think so but I'll keep on track," she smiles. "One more thing," I ask of her.

She nods her head. "Kidnap the mermaid. She might be useful for me," I smirk at Valon, but she has an offended look. "You don't need her, you've got me," she yells in offense. "Valon of course. I just need her to tell me info on Pan. Your here to tell me info on Ace," I give her a reassuring hug to make sure she's okay.

She lets go and smiles. "Sure thing Alan," she says and leaves.

•VALON'S POV•

I walk out of his tent. I'm not an idiot. I'm here only because he needs someone to use. He wants to be like Pan. Pan has Felix, Alan has me. Truth is, Felix is my brother and he doesn't know I'm here.

That's the only reason I showed up. I had to be with my brother again. I haven't seen him since, well, our parents death. That hit him the hardest. Most likely the reason why he's a lost boy. I wonder if he remembers me. We have grown a lot since then

I had short blond hair with bangs that covered my eyes. Since I'm Neverland, you could do anything you wanted, I added purple tips to my bangs. I usually wore what people call combat boots and tight jeans. You will never see me in a dress. I am not a girly girl.

I still don't understand why Alan has this fixation on this girl. Ace wasn't all that and a bag of chips. All she had was her stupid fire powers. I could fish, hunt, fight, and be quiet for a really long time.

I've always asked myself why does he like her if he's never really had a conversation with her? Alan was a little psycho, but he had good qualities with him as well. In fact, he knows the island better than Pan does.

You can ask Alan a question about Neverland and he doesn't hesitate. I guess being a lost boy does help. Knowing another element talent is better.

I had a friend named Vydia, the element who controlled storms, who taught me everything about elements. If you cut their hands, they can't use their powers until they are healed because you've scarred the ability to produce it. Each element has their own necklace that they can use to contact the others. Lastly, some can turn into animals.

Alan was using me to teach him these things to use on Ace or not hurt her. I was his secret weapon.

Before I could walk into the little pit of fire, I stop in my tracks at a log to sit down. The weird feeling of the protective layer before the bark was making it painful to sit on. I dealt with it and just sat there until something happened.
