Shadow put ties on my wrist so I didn't try anything. At this point I was nervous to find what he wanted to do to Pan. "I never really understood you, why would you come back if you knew something bad always ends up happening," he asks me as we start walking to make camp. "It's love. Love makes you do crazy things," I smile I as continue looking down.

"But he hurts you," Shadow says. "Correction, you did," I say harshly. He mutters something under his breath. Shadow rolls his eyes and we continue walking towards an old camp. It eventually comes into view.

"Sit here," he jerks my handcuffs and I fall on my butt. "You don't have to be so harsh you know," I tell him. He ignores me and gets a small fire going. "You could just let me do that," I smile. "If I did, how would I know that you wouldn't signal Pan? Even if I wanted to let you, you can't because I cut your hand," he spits out. His small fire sparks a flame. I laugh at how pathetic his fire was and he glares at me hatefully. He tries to make a bigger fire, but Shadow fails miserably. I laugh louder and he gets even more angrier. "Shadow, were you a lost boy," I ask trying to calm him down.

He looks at me with shock. "Why would you ask?"

"Just out of curiosity."

"Yes, I was. The original lost boy," he has a tear in his eye. "I thought Pan was," I questioned. "No, I was. I started this until he came here and I made a deal. Little did I know the deal would make me a shadow," he keeps his head down with his hair covering his face. "It could be worse you know," I laugh. "How so," he inquires. "You could be dead," I point out.

"Is that supposed to be a joke," he starts getting angry. I nod my head no, but that doesn't do much. Shadow storms off his seat and pushes me against the tree. "You listen to me, you're my captive and you do as I say or I will use magic to shut you up," I start getting scared. He slaps me hard on the face. He lets go of me and I slide down the tree. I start crying and hold my cheek.

•PANS POV•

I feel pain strike me in the heart. Something bad had happened and I could tell. "Pan, Pan!"

My name is being called from a lost boy and it broke my focus. A hurt and pained Felix wobbled into camp. Two lost boys helped him. "Felix?"

He stayed silence as he tries to catch his breath from basically rolling down to get here. There was a scar on his chest. "What the bloody hell happened," I asked him.

"Ace."

I knew she couldn't be trusted. She was no good. I should've listened to shadow when I had the chance.

"I know what you're thinking, so stop it," Felix looks up at me.

"What do you mean," I ask curiously.

"She didn't mean to," he tells me. "Go on."

"I was trying to help her get the bracelet off and we did. But then I kept bugging her for information about what happened between you and her," he looks at me funny. I roll my eyes. "And how is she still trustworthy," I ask rudely. "She saved me." I look at him with shock. "How?"

"Phoenix tears," he informs me. I widen my eyes. "How'd she figure it out," I inquire. He shrugs his shoulders. "I honestly have no idea," he says. I walk away from him and into my tent.

"What and how in the bloody hell could she do that without previously doing it," I look in the mirror. The pain in my heart came back. I gripped my chest and fell to the ground. I scream in pain. I feel coldness surround the room.

"I think I know why that's happening," Shadow's voice surrounded me. I stand up and see a boy with black hair. "How the hell do you have a body," I yell not realizing Ace was next to him. "You can thank your girlfriend for that," he smiles.

I look at her. "She would never ever do that."

"I know, that's why I took matters into my own hands," he giggles. "Pan," her tears fell. My stature softens and shadow takes the opportunity. I feel him behind me. He holds a dagger to my throat. "Ace, is this what you want," Shadow asks. I felt something fall down my cheek. It was wet and made my eye blurry. A tear.

"Shadow, leave him alone," she yells as she tries to lunge forward but stops herself. Tears had overtaken her face. She was overwhelmed. I felt awful. "Make a choice," Shadow yells. The blade tightened near my throat. She runs quickly and pushes shadow away. He throws the knife to hit me but it hits her instead. My eyes widen as it hits her stomach and she falls to the ground, but I catch her. I hold he close to me as I hold the wound tightly. Shadow stays next to me.

"P-Pan, I don't want to leave you," her hand grabs my face. "I don't want you to leave either," I kiss her lips. I push her hair away from her face. "Is there anyway to fix it," she cries. "I don't think so," I say with sadness. "Maybe if I can cry on it," she tries to move but winces.

"It won't work on yourself," Shadow says. "Shut the hell up. This is your fault," I yell at him with tears. "Is Peter Pan crying?"

"Over a silly little girl?"

"You wouldn't understand," I yell back. All my motions overwhelmed me.

"I-I love you," Ace says while taking her last breath. Her eyes close and her once warm skin turns cold. I was crying over her and held her.

"No," I scream out.

I put her on my bed.

"Pan, I'm sorry, I never meant to kill Ace," Shadow grabs me. "Don't touch me," I say coldly, "Felix!"

Felix appears and sees Ace's dead body. "Put Shadow in a cage," I order. Shadow's eyes widen in shock. "But Pan-,"

"Shut the hell up! This is your fault," I yell in his face. Felix takes shadow away.

I wipe everything off my desk in an angry fashion. I scream.

"She can't be gone, she can't be!"

Tears fell down my cheeks. What was I going to do now?
