It was a hot summer day as you held Eddie's hand while walking back to his trailer, but the breeze felt refreshing on your skin. You stop suddenly, hearing soft whimpers coming from the side of someone's trailer. Eddie looked at you concerned for a moment.

"Sweetheart what's wrong?" He asked.

"Do you hear that?" You walk around, the whimpers becoming louder.

As you peak around one of the trailers you see a stray black kitten wandering around. You gasp as you slowly creep up towards it. As it turns around to see you, it runs away.

"You scared it," Eddie said.

"Yeah, it's probably not a people person," you sigh.

"C'mon sweetheart, let's go inside,"

You take Eddie's hand and go back inside his trailer.

The next day you go outside again trying to find the kitten. You see the little one playing around with a piece of something. You slowly and stealthy sneak up towards it. It sees you again but this time it sits and watches you.

"Hey little guy," you whisper.

You lift out your hand and the kitten comes towards you. It sniffs you, making sure that you aren't going to hurt it. It lets you pet it gently and soon it begins to pur. You pick it up slowly and bring it back inside with you, excited to show Eddie.

"Hey Ed's, look what I got," you say smiling as you hold the kitten.

Eddie looks at you and his eyes widen.

"Sweetheart, it's cute but I don't think we can keep it," Eddie says as he walks over to you.

"Why not?" You giggle as the kitten bites your hand playfully and Eddie smiles as he watches. "You want to hold it?"

"No, no,"

"Oh come on, I know you want to," you smile as you hand Eddie the kitten.

It begins to pur and play with his necklace and Eddie can't help but smile. It loved Eddie for some reason.

"Having second thoughts?" You ask.

"Oh alright we can keep it," Eddie smirks at you.

You find out the gender of the kitten and give it a name. It now has a home with you two and Wayne of course but he did approve.

This one is so sweet.
I might be posting less because I am working on another story that y'all can go read, and I just got back in school again and I need to focus more on that.
