      "I can't just ask her out, I mean, I should probably get some flowers, or something nice, and then ask her," Robin stated quickly, putting some movies on a shelf.

"Whatever you do Robin, I'm sure it will be fine," you say leaning against the counter.

"Yeah, just don't mess it up by talking a hundred miles an hour," Steve says.

"Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. Because what if she says no when I ask her?" Robin frowned.

"Robin, I think you need to stop overthinking and just do it," you laugh. "And so what if she says no? Her loss, right?"

Steve nodded in agreement.

"I mean, I guess so," Robin said with a sigh.

You guys talked for a while about dates and all that stuff, Family Video being slow with customers. Until the door opened, and the bell rang.

"Hi, welcome to family vi-" you look up seeing Eddie Munson in front of the counter, with a smile on his face. The guy you've been crushing on for years.

"Hi," he says waving to you.

You feel a blush rise to your cheeks, as you can't help but look at his pretty face. Meanwhile, Steve and Robin look at you in concern.

"You guy's sell movies here don't you?" Eddie asks, propping his elbows on the counter smiling at you.

"Yes," you laugh. "Are you looking for something in particular?"

"Oh I don't know," he says.

"O-okay, well let me know if you need anything," you stutter, feeling your face go red.

You decide to go around to the metal cart with different sorts of movies on them and put them away. You see Robin and Steve out of the corner of your eye smiling at you. They definitely knew what was going on. You kneel down, picking up black VHS tapes and putting them on shelfs.

"Need any help?" Eddie asks.

You didn't know what to say. You stand up, putting more VHS tapes on the shelf in front of you, and then turn to Eddie.

"Why are you here Eddie? You aren't looking for a movie are you,"

"No, ah, no," he says looking down at you. "I wanted to ask you something."

You freeze up in placement, and your heart starts beating faster, but you try to ignore the feeling.

"Okay," you say softly, waiting for a response from Eddie, who looked quite nervous.

"Will you go out with me?" He asks. "Like on a date, I mean, it's fine if you don't want to, I was just seeing if you were free, unless you aren't, which is-"

"I would love to," you smile at him, feeling the excitement in your stomach.

"Great, yeah, totally," Eddie smiled back, at a loss for words.

"I'm free this Saturday," you say.

"Cool," he says, running his fingers through his hair.

"Cool," you laugh.

"So, Saturday at 6?" He asks.

"Yeah, that's perfect, you can come pick me up," you say, continuing to put movies back where they belong.

"Oh, sure, yeah," Eddie's face was now bright red.

You started to laugh at him, more flustered than ever. You go back around to the counter, getting out a pen and a sticky-note, you write down your address onto it and hand it to Eddie.

"See you soon, sweetheart," Eddie winks and walks out the door.

"Sweetheart, seriously?" Steve scoffs, seeming a little jealous.

"Oh, shut up."

"You have a date!" Robin says in excitement.

"I know!" You yell. "And see, he didn't buy me flowers or anything, he just asked."
