somewhere special pt 2 - imagine

The two of you got out of the lake soaking wet. The breeze was cool on your skin as you walked back to the picnic blanket.

"Eddie, are you ready to head out?" You ask.

"One more thing sweetheart," he said as he grabbed something small from the picnic basket.

You looked down, squeezing the water out of your dress and hair before looking back up at Eddie. You looked shocked for a moment, he was smiling as wide and cute as can be. He was kneeling down on one knee holding out a small box with a ring in it.

Eddie grabbed your hand softly, turning you all the way around so you stood in front of him. You feel tears welled up in your eyes as you look down at him. You smiled at the sight of Eddie, soaking wet in front of you, kneeling down with a ring in his hand.

"Oh Eddie," you say as tears escape your eyes.

"Hey sweetheart," Eddie smiled. "You're the most beautiful, extraordinary, loving, sexy person I have ever met," Eddie said as you began to laugh."And I want to be with you for the rest of my life," Eddie began to tear up. "I love you so so so much. Will you marry me?" He asked.

Right now, you are in a mixture of emotions. You are happy, crying, and laughing all in one.

"Yes," you nod and smile.

Eddie laughs sliding the ring onto your finger. It fit perfectly and it was so beautiful. Eddie stood up and you wrapped your arms around him, jumping onto him, before placing a kiss on his lips. Eddie looked at you and smiled, he placed his hand on your face wiping away your tears.

"I don't think we were fit for the right occasion Ed's," you say pointing at your wet clothes.

"Well it worked out didn't it?" He laughed.

"Yeah, yeah it did," you smile. "When are we gonna tell everyone?"

"Oh they already know," Eddie said pointing to the woods.

All of your friends came out of the woods clapping and cheering for the both of you. Robin immediately came and hugged you tightly, not caring about your wet clothes. Steve, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Mike dabbed up on Eddie and said "you did it man," while Johnathan came out behind holding a camera. He video taped your reaction which was a good thing to have in the future.

"Oh my gosh it's beautiful," Nancy said as you held out your hand.

"I know, it really is, isn't it," you smile.

"Congratulations you guys," Max said and hugged you.

"Thank you,"

You look back at Eddie smiling once more before jumping into his arms kissing him again.
