When the girl walked back home, she did not notice that a certain someone was following her. She did have a weird gut feeling, like someone was watching her, but she didn't pay any mind to it. The song 'Maniac' by her favourite singer was echoing through her headphones and she was focused on her phone.
Now she was walking over the field back to her house, her steps sounding over the field. She got alarmed when she realized that not only her steps are audible, but someone else's as well. She paced faster and when the steps behind her adjusted to her pace, she was terrified. Chills went down her spine and fear made it hard to breath. Just a few more minutes and she would be home. Evelyn tried to act normal so her stalker wouldn't feel threatened to do anything. She dialled Katsuki's phone number and hoped he would pick up. Her heart fell into her pants when just the voicemail answered, and before she could call again, she was pushed onto the muddy ground.
A yelp of surprise escaped her, and she tried to grab her phone. The girl was startled when her phone was kicked away from her and a person stood in front of her. The black haired girl was still on the ground, shaking, not daring to move. When she looked up, and her face met the boy's face which she rejected earlier. Evelyn furrowed her brows in disbelief. "What the fuck are you doing?!" she demanded to know, furious. His wrathful stare made her feel uneasy. Wordless, he took a step towards her, glaring down at the dark haired girl. He indeed felt superior and powerful in this situation.
"Hey! Answer me!" She snarled, thinking of a way out. "You know, no one ever turned me down. You're gonna regret that." He growled, smirking wickedly. The girl cussed under her breath, deciding to act. She tackled him on the ground. He gasped in surprise. Evelyn got up, but he pulled her foot, making her collapse on the ground again. "Shit!" The girl shrieked, turning around to face him.
Now the situation repeated itself, she was on the ground, and he was leaning over her. "So what are you gonna do now, huh?" The brunet came menacingly closer, creating electric sparks between his palms.
"You should you beg now, shouldn't you." "Fuck no! I am not as pathetic as you!" She shouted furiously, crawling backwards. This angered him even more. "Fucking whore!" The boy forcefully lifted her, sending electricity through her body. The girl whimpered in pain, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Seems like someone is a bad loser." She provoked with gritted teeth. That caused him to double the electricity, making it even more painful for Evelyn.
When the boy paused with his nasty torture, Evelyn took this chance to use her quirk against him. He screamed in agony, sinking to the ground. This was her opportunity to run.
As soon as the girl arrived home, she immediately stormed inside the bathroom. She wanted to get rid of her clothes. They were muddy and torn. Soreness overwhelmed her body, and her reflection in the mirror looked at her with worry. She had a cut across her cheek and a few minor ones spread across her body, which she likely got due to hitting some stones on the ground. The warm water made her relax. The cuts were stinging a bit, but it was bearable. The electroshocks were by far worse.
A knock got her attention. She quickly put on a robe and peered from behind the door. Katsuki was waiting there and their eyes locked.
He furrowed his brows, and it took him some time to notice the injury on her face. "What the fuck happened to you?" He opened the door, making the girl backing away. She was still distraught by the attack. "Uhm, I fell on my way home." She told him a false story, she didn't want lie, but also the truth was worse. She was unsure how he would react if she told him what really happened.
"Let me help you clean it." He really wanted to help, but Evelyn refused, "No I can do it myself but thank you." After she cleaned her wound, she wanted to text her friend, but instead she remembered that she left her phone on the field. "Fucking shit."
She went to her room, deciding to ask the blonde to accompany her. "Uhm, Katsuki, I accidentally lost my phone on the field path. Could you go with me to look for it?" He agreed and had the idea to call her, so they just need to spot the light of the display or the ringing.
It didn't take them long to find it and Evelyn also got her bag which was laying there as well. Katsuki held the torch, so they could see something in the darkness. On the way back, he noticed the footprints on the path. While examinating them, he realized that it weren't only Evelyn's but also a second person's footprints.
He concluded that something might have happened, but he decided that he wouldn't confront her immediately. She still seemed shaken, and he thought Evelyn would maybe tell him herself.
The two went home and decided to rest, tomorrow is Monday and another day of school after all, so they will need this rest.
