Today was Saturday, which meant that Evelyn could sleep in. She usually slept till noon. Her sleep was a deep as the ones of a bear during winter. The current time was 12:24 pm, and the girl slowly rose from her chaos of cushions and plushies. A yawn escaped her rosy lips while she had a nice stretch. Her rouge coloured silk pyjama was laying on her skin lightly.
The girl moved her hair out of her face and slowly made her way to the bathroom. She took a black top and grey sweatpants with her. In the bathroom, the girl brushed her hair, noticing the blonde roots growing. "I look like I am balding, I should dye my roots again. But for now, touch up spray will be alright." The girl stated looking for a blue coloured spray bottle. When that was done, she put her hair in a claw clip and washed her face.
"Where are you, Katsuki?" The girl pondered while looking for the boy. In the meantime, Katsuki was training. He decided not to wake the girl and enjoy some alone time. Talking of the devil, he got a text message from Evelyn. 'Bro WYA??' 'Training. Will be back in 1h' The boy answered and immediately got a reply from Evelyn, 'GR8 :) See u L8R' A tiny smile graced his lips.
Evelyn made pancakes for breakfast and while preparing the pancake batter, the girl got an idea. She quickly texted Katsuki and wrote a shopping list.
"Excuse me, where do I find miso paste?" The girl asked the cashier, who showed her the direction. When she gathered everything, she paid and walked home. She was lucky that she had a supermarket with such a broad variety near her, she could reach it by foot in 10 minutes. Her music was deafeningly playing in her headphones.
When the black haired girl arrived home, the blonde had already laid out all utensils they will need to cook. "There you are, you really took your time, huh." Katsuki asked irritated. He took the paper bag from her and began unpacking. "Hope the ingredients are the right ones." "Yes seems so." The boy inspected the packed goods carefully.
"Okay we can start now, could you dice the carrots and onions." he stated, giving Evelyn the vegetables. Meanwhile, he mixed the sauces and chopped the meat. She gave the blonde her poorly chopped onions and carrots. "Damn, shorty, let me show you how to do it properly." He stepped behind her, taking her hands in his. The sudden touch made her breath hitch in surprise and her body tense. "Calm down, shorty and learn from a professional." he demanded confidently, causing her cheeks to flush. She quickly picked up how to do it. "Yes, that looks good shorty." He praised, letting go of her.
Now all ingredients were ready and Katsuki began to stir-fry them. Evelyn took care of the rice, which they would later add to the pan. The aroma of the different spices were in the air. "It smells so good in here." The girl smiled.
"Do you guys have chopsticks?" "Yes, in the left drawer. The ones with the tiny pandas are mine." The girl mentioned setting the table.
"Ready to dig in?" "Yes. Enjoy your meal." "Yes, you as well." the girl smiled, eating a spoonful of rice. The two were now eating in silence, but not a awkward silence, but more of a pleasant silence.
"That was good food," Evelyn patted on her stomach, "See even my food baby agrees." She remarked playfully, nudging the boy. "Katsuki, wanna watch a horror film?" "Nah rather not." He denied, but the girl had other plans. "So you are too scared, huh." She smirked teasingly, her plan to use reverse psychology. "Me scared? Fuck no!" He threw the giggling girl over his shoulder, stomping up the stairs with her. Unlike before, he was more careful. He placed her on the bed, taking place next to her, but not before tossing the controller of the PlayStation on her bed.
"So, what do you want to watch?" The girl entered 'horror' into the search bar. Many icons popped up. "I don't know, something we both haven't watched?" "Uhm sure. I have actually watched most of it. "Here. What about Human Centipede?" "Yeah sure. Sounds fine." "Okay, let's watch all the films."
"Damn, that was disgusting." The boy commented, causing Evelyn to pray, although not meant seriously, "Please god, let me forget these pictures. Send me bleach to cleanse my eyes." Giggles accompanied the girl's so-called prayer, which caused Katsuki to laugh as well.
"It is already 2 am. Let's call it a day." The boy interrupted their fun and moved to his own bed, giving the girl a small grin and getting ready to hit the hay. Evelyn turned around to sleep as well. Today's events made her smile, especially cooking together was very nice, she thought.
